Trying to clean up the video some; I'm not sure it's salvageable. It's killing me. Re: camera placement, the camera and mount are fine, it's the fact that my dash has too much vibration at higher speeds. A windshield mount will probably be my best bet going forward. I'll be at the Texas mile in two weeks and will likely pull some 180+ speeds so hopefully that video works out better. It's absolutely killing me.

I was supposed to go to a "Cars and Coffee" event this morning with the Mustangs of Massachusetts, it was pushed back a week due to rain. Right after I got the notification the phone rang... it was Fire HQ.

"Do you want an EMS detail for Saturday? Your choice 9 to 1 or 1 to 6."
"Yes"... $50 an hour with a 4 hour minimum, being the EMT for a kung fu tournament. I took the 9 to 1 portion. KaChing!

Me and my buddy (with the '68 Fastback) took our Mustangs down to a local classic car show. They let any "interesting" modern cars in, hence my S197 was accepted.

Hope you guys enjoy the eclectic mix

Yesterday...dropped her off at JDM Engineering for 3.73 gears and a one-piece aluminum driveshaft. Saturday can't get here quick enough!

Julie met me there so I could get my car in a secure spot and to get my key. Very nice lady and happy they accommodated my Sunday afternoon drop off. Saw Jim Sr. but didn't approach because I heard he can be a little moody. lol
Jim Jr. called today. She is goes under the knife Wednesday.

I almost pulled the trigger and bought a new engine (to replace the one that chipped the ring land on 2 pistons and blew the head gaskets when I put the turbo on tune or overboost, still not sure) - but then thought about it and realized that if I get the engine now, between the time it takes to get it here, install it, do some tuning, the car will be in winter storage. So a 6 month warranty on the replacement would be wasted on 5 months of the car sitting.

So, cleaned out the third bay of the garage and got it set up so that the Mustang and my wife's lawn tractor will both fit. Tight, but it fit. Now I can park my commuter car, 2010 Mariner, in the garage for the winter.

The new engine will have to wait until February. Then I can get it out of the garage, install the new engine, and get the tune fixed in time for Buckeye Brawl!

Jim, you should just upgrade to a 5.0!!!! Although it's tough to do that swap. And good luck!

I got my engine fixed. I had a broken coil in one of the cylinders that needed replaced.
