What did you do with your Mustang today?*
(yesterday)
Took in my 3rd autocross event. Learned a bit more, learned that I still have a LOT more to learn, but had a blast, nevertheless.

Girlfriend had a cool launch "warming up the tires" ... I burst out laughing, lol
When we got home, I installed some Ford Racing goodness under the hood of my girlfriend's GT500, a twin-65mm throttle body, and loaded a revised tune from her tuner.
Drove it just a bit last night but it definitely seems to have a bit more "pep", lol

Ha i would hope not, at least with that supercharger on there if you just put your foot in it and shift you should beat me

I'm sure it was in the top few best sounding at least haha
Had some free time and the weather was nice this morning so I got my engine bay cleaned up and added a battery cover and master brake cylinder cover I've had laying around forever.

That is one sweet TB, to bad you couldn't use it on your Mustang.
I hit 12.9 with my Mach with DRs and cat-back, so once you get some tires should be no problem!
Thanks, and yeah not using it, but it's working awesome on the gf's Shelby, drove that car today and it definitely felt more powerful, we can hear the blower more than before, and the new tune is giving more exhaust burble/crackle on downshifts, so we love it!
Detailed the front end (to protect my clear bra, I'll do the rest next weekend) and my first dip project. It didn't come out too great lol. Actually, the finish came out amazing! I just left the tape on too long. This stuff dries fast! You're supposed to peel the tape off when it's still wet, and I didn't realize it was already dry when I started
my line came out terrible. I may or may not redo it, since you can only really tell if you lie down on the ground and look up. I'm going to have my quad valance and quad cat back in about a month, so it may not be worth it. I used about half a can of black and a quarter of glossifier. The finish is pretty much perfect, IMO.
And one more of the tint. I love it. Not too dark!

When I get better at this whole dip thing (and this was out of spray cans, not even the dip system with the power sprayer), I was planning on removing the rockers, dipping them, and then taping off a line on the rear bumper to the quad tip valance, to mimic the 10-12 look. I did prefer that look too. Makes the car look visually lighter, less hefty in the mid and rear sections.
