I took the shift ball and boots off the Hurst Billet Shifter to see why I have this shifter rattle noise now. Packed base with grease, packed shifter ball with silicone sealant.
Test drove the car and after a few shifts, the grease must have grabbed the ball and pulled itself into place because I can't feel any verticle movement and I have zero shifter ball rattle now.

She's going to toss that one and put a 4.2 on. Same boost at lower RPM's, and of course, more boost if she wants it. It's putting out roughly 880HP at the wheels right now and they're installing racing cams either this week or next, hoping to get the HP up around 950 (I believe, might be wrong though). It's run 200+ at the Texas mile, but apparently that's not fast enough for her.
She's also blown multiple transmissions apart and shredded a couple of blocks as well. There are a few videos of her 1/4 mi. runs on youtube.
Nothing exciting today. Just drove it to McDonald's for lunch. Drove my daughter to her prom last night. Was in line for an hour waiting to drop her off at the red carpet. She was the last one. The Mustang got a thumbs up from some guys.

I have a "Sick Speed" gear shift ball with the brushed adapter. Not the actual Hurst linkage like you have

It is however a lot nicer than the stock shift **** though!
Today, I have just been taking it easy, and am out in the shop admiring the new 07 that is to my left, or the left of my computer desk!
Actually going to rain here soon, so I have had some pretzles and a Miller Lite. Just relaxing learning a lot from all of the great posts here on TMS
I got StangBoy5.0 to take her around the block. Video Link: http://youtu.be/GR8TimUsQTo
