Washed it, cleaned the wheels (no part of the car is a bigger pain in the butt than the wheels...and I don't have the new ones yet).

Yeah those black textured wheels would be a nightmare

I have been busy on Seven. Lots of mods lots of work. Probably about a month away from her final reveal before she goes into her time capsule.

Just kidding no time capsule. But these are the mods to end all mods on this car barring repairs.

I hear ya on that one. My next wheels will include washing effort in the decision.

The textured black is a nightmare. There is no such thing as, "wash, rinse, dry." Every single drop has to be wiped, or the dried minerals show up nice and bright against the matte finish.

I can't wait to see Seven finished. As good as it looks now, I can't imagine what you will think of as a "finished" version...

Mine did not. I was drooling over a picture of them until my wife walked by and said, "huh. Boy, those will take as long to clean as the rest of the car."

****!!!

You know what, now that you mention it, my Milans though easily accessed to clean through the huge 5 spoke design, has a textured matte black inner surface. Scrubbing it is not easy with a soft sponge or mf towel. Drying it is also a pain. But still faster to clean/dry (and much better looking) than the stock 19s brembos.

I have the F14 split seven-spoke wheels, so I've gotta wipe down 56 different spokes each time. But it's the crevices that are a nightmare. They look really good when clean but they are definitely work-intensive.

That's awesome.
Yes,...cleaning the wheels does suck. Do you clean inside the wheels like Burton and I? That's a real pain in the butt! lol

No, I don't have the time to go that far. I'd never get anything else done.

Darren, how do you think I keep all my cars ding free for last umpteen years?

I always take the end spot and cheat over so I'm not taking anyone else's. Also, I stay far away from the front end of the line. Why? One time, some ***** parked over the line and pushed in my front plate. That was back in 05 or so. I about lost it with the ***** that did it. So many years later, I practice caution at all times.
