95 Lincoln MK VIII. I suspect that I have a warped head. If I take the head off and have it fixed. What are the chances of the block being warped too? since the block is also aluminum. How can I tell if it is warped how do I check it? Maybe just a blown gasket. How check for a blown gasket? I took it to the dealer and he said that I had low compression on my number One and Two cylinders. I do not know if this is entirely true because they lie alot. The oil does not appear to be contaminated though.

I would hope you don't have a warped block...low compression could mean bad plugs. Your gasket will have a tear in it if its blown. First off i would check the head gaskets to see if they're not blown, then I'd get a tune up and see what happens...

do a compression check, thats gonna help you figure it out. May have to pull the motor and have it sent to a machine shop to be checked.
