The main point is for the couple of seconds quicker than the GT is over the v6 the majority not all GT guys act like the V6 is a piece and the guys who own it are lame. Meanwhile I have Vette owners and Camaro owners who give me a thumbs up and ask about my car constantly. So in the end it's lame that GT guys can't give the same respect sorry your ***** is to small

If there weren't some serious insecurity and second guessing among the V6 crowd in general, threads like this wouldn't keep popping up.

im soooooooooooooo sick of the whole "my v6 is a mustang and its only a stripe away from being a shelby blah blah blah".. I had a couple sixxers and they were nice. I never flet they were fast enough..
like I have said before.. its like when you do not agree with some people and they call you racist simply because you do not agree.. some people say its a size issue or a lacking.. but its not.. its the love of something thats fast and fun. I wish they would stop saying crap to me a guy that loves his little fiestas and focus hatchs..

I love my '00 V6 pony, and I love my '11 GT/CS.
But, there is a night and day difference.
Not just in power. But, in the feel of the ride, the handling, the cornering, etc...
It's just a whole different experience.
I'm sure there's quite the difference even between my '00 and the current 3.7 V6.
Besides the HP.
I admit, I haven't driven a current 3.7 V6 yet.
I have to admit that I do love the attention the CS gets.
The looks, people complimenting me on it, the thumbs up from other drivers, the "yes" nods, and so on.
It puts a big grin on my face. It's definitely an ego booster.
The pony gets nowhere near the same attention. But, it's been a dependable and reliable daily driver, and that's what I love about it.

I am on my third mustang and my newest one is my first v6. All my cars got compliments as I'm sure your guys cars do as well.
Last year I went on an out of state trip and decided to rent a mustang at the airport. Low and behold all they had was white 2011 v6 convertible. Well, I'm kinda self conscious about convertibles to a degree and was worried that i would feel goofy with the top down. Not to mention I was never a fan of white.
Anyway, I bravely put the top down and said "who cares?!"
Long story short: that car got more attention and compliments in one day than one of mine did in a month!! (mainly women if it matters) not to mention, I believe that it was built in hell. That little white car was a demon! Moreso than my v6 of the same year. Go figure!
Being a Saleen and former Mach 1 owner... I realized that day that a v6 can be quite stunning if you learn to appreciate it for what it is and stop worrying about what it isn't.

I have a 11 v6 stang and paid 22,500 for the vehicle. I have made some minor aftermarket modifications and spent under 1,000 dollars total. I put a Flowmaster force exhaust, using a 93 performance bama tune and a cold air intake. Dude, the car rocks for a v6 that cost 23,500 with the mods. I can easily keep with a stock or slightly mod 2010 or earlier Gt. The car sounds incredible with the cold air intake and it really takes off around 3,000 rpm mark. The new v6 is no wimpy car and rocks out with power and performance for the money. The older v6 models from 2010 down, is not in the league of the 11 plus v6. Ford did an amazing job on the new v6's.
Next mod, 3.73 gears.

Amen.
Who cares if you have a V6, GT or even a GT500. At the end of the day, we all share a common interest and that my friends is called owning a MUSTANG!! Weather we mod them or just simply drive them, it's a interest we all enjoy. For all the haters out there, you don't like it, buy a crappy GM and tell me if that makes you happy.
frames were people can put what ever numbers they would like on the side . I had a ballanced and blue printed,289,a 4cyl truck etc. my garage hasn't refused to let any of them park. Great forem lets get together yey yey yey.

why go against each other, shouldn't we go against the camaro or the challenger?
I'm probably the only v6 owner who's first priority isnt power or going fast. if I wanted power and room to make a monster I would of gotten a shell with a 422 hp engine in it ( the new 5.0 ) but I wanted luxury inside and out, good mpg, and a little power under the hood.
