For the V6 owners only
I'm so d@mn tired of people who put down the V6 Mustang because is not a GT. furthermore, because it doesn't have "5.0" on its fenders.
From mechanics, passerbys, forum trolls, to my own relatives, someone always has to comment! My own brother snickered and asked me "why I would even want to put 3.7L badges on my car?"
If I wanted a GT then I would have bought one. However, I choose to put my money towards other priorities in life. (i.e family, house, and paying the government back for my 3 degrees.) I'm sick and tired of explaining myself. What is going to happen when the 2.8L makes it into the new mustangs?
V6 owners need to be proud of our six bangers. Be happy with the money we are saving on gas and insurance. I'm grateful for what I have, not what I don't have. She's not a GT but she's not a Camry either.
-end of rant

No real hate on v6s here... just the drivers who think the have a hotrod. I will troll though
I want one for my DD so I don't tear up my cobra. And I hate on gts too. Not just 6ers.

I love my v6 too, I traded in an LS1 Trans Am for it and never looked back. I've owned an '03 Mach 1 before too and this v6 gives me the same visceral experience as driving both of them. I've actually never driven a 400+ HP car before so I guess I don't know what I'm missin. High 13's in the quarter is good enough for me. LOL

I think people just hear v6 and not v8 and think its something less. I wouldn't take a G8 or any Gto or ugly pontiac for my sixer. I wouldn't even take my grand Cherokee v8 back for it.
I'd better stop With the Pontiac. My wife loves them. Hope she isn't reading this.
