I recently purchased a 2004 Mustang GT. The car came with one of those tacky dealer badges on the rear just above my GT badge. This one is a badge not a sticker. I would REALLY like to remove it. Any suggestions on how to get it off without damaging the paint?

it is just a piece of plastic stuck on with double sided tape. use a hair drier to heat up the glue and remove the residue with goo gone or something similar. same as any other sticker although it may look more substantial.

A crow bar and lighter fluid worked for me when I ripped off the tri-bar on the side of mustang.

When I bought mine, the badge was bent and lifted at the corner. i just kept on pulling until it came off. Hot water took care of the sticky residue

get some dental floss or fishing line and pull it behind the badge, as close to the paint as you can. it will come off no problem. then just get some goo gone to remove the residue.

Or get the dealer to do it. I make the dealers do it when I buy the car ... Just ask nicely and they'll usually do it.

Ya realize, that's how alot of people says to do it. Of course, works much better when the car is nice and hot from either a hair driver or sitting in the sun.
