Jed and everyone else interested....

6G7Z19C543A ; was quoted $149.00

That's the part # to the Gt500 Tire Inflation Kit. The guy I spoke with had no idea of the "foam" came with. I'm going to call another dealership later to find out for certain.

I run the M&H 325/45 racemaster dr's...... I run them around 17psi. I don't run them on the street because they're mounted on 17x9 bullitts that don't match my front chrome DD bullitts.

I'm a big Junior fan and I don't think that Busch did that intentionally. I was upset that Jr was taken out of contention, but I was more mad at the attitude that Busch had about the crash and having to hear it from the Jr fans- that alone deserves him an *** kicking.

I just started watching this season (Only time I ever watched it before was The Daytona 500 when Earhardt died. Maybe I jinxed him.) so I had no idea that it's common practice.

Since the inflator costs $80 that means the foamie thing is valued at $70.

So you won't run with the DR's to the track because the rims don't match?

Hard to keep up with SoCalPOTR !

I don't think it's a very good representation, but the new rims came in today:

The tires will be swapped tomorrow in the morning.

Another point of interest:

The Convertible will now be in Mustang Enthusiast, like her big sister! A photographer is coming out this week or next for the photo shoot...

Wrecks at short tracks are inevitable, though good drivers like these guys shouldn't wreck like that. It's just like the big one at Talledega and Daytona are pretty much inevitable as well. Jr. even said today it would hypocritical for him to get mad about it because he's wrecked Kyle during the chase before. Everyone is going to be the victim and the guilty party at some point.

That's awesome on both fronts Tom. I'm really interested to see the new wheels once you get them all mounted.

No, I don't run them to the track because the nearest track is a little over an hour away. And the other closest track is almost 2.5 hours away.

I'm no fan of shrub, but I don't think he did it on purpose, they were racing hard and it happened. I didn't see the "interview" so I don't know how they took it.

Don't think it's common practice. Some racers are.... not dirty but maybe not forgiving.... added to that Kyle is very aggressive. Neither driver was going to back off and it wrecked both of their races. Dale Snr didn't mind being aggressive and tough to race, but on a few occasions he'd punt someone off to pass.... the bump-n-run he was excellent at. The difference is that nearly everyone respected him and Kyle hasn't earned that respect yet.

Looks great Tom and it'll look even better when it's off the cinder-blocks... . Seeing them on the car is so much better than a pic with no reference.

CONGRATS on article #2...

I'd stick around, but I'm off to see IRONMAN

Jed & Bill- What a bunch of aholes. Making fun Charlie right in front of him. It's sad the the vortech unit is bigger than the intake manifold. You guys should tell him he needs new a-arms to match that nice looking "K-memba".

Turning into quite a picture *****. Congrats. The Socal crew is still without coverage.

NO! Get a rear medallion if you really want one and call it day.

Just got back from getting my Relo brackets welded into place. Only cost me $10. After Brian posted that article I decided not to take the chance of that happening. Especially now that I've got the DR's.

Its hard to tell how it will look with the rims until they are on with tires. Maybe get a side shot of the car once the rims are on and get some opinions??
