Jed/Tom you're 275/40 right, how does that hold up ? Is there a chance that 1st would be completely useless with 275s
I still really like the deep dish bullitts and the FR-500 rim, that is if I had to pick one.

I'm thinking 255's up front, 285/295's out back. This should do nicely.

I like the CS wheels, but not the price. So for now I am shopping the "knock off" bullitts/FR-500s from American Muscle. So how wide can you go on a 9" wheel ? is 275 the max or can you squeeze a 285/295 on there ?

Bill just food for thought, doing the same size on all four corners makes really good sense..... every since my blower install, my rear tires seem to wear out faster than the fronts. I tell my wife that my rear end is out of alignment....... needs more suspension mods to get it back in line! ![Rollinglaugh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/rollinglaugh.gif)
Someone asked about 9" wheels..... I run 275s on mine but wouldn't be afraid to run 285s. Most people that say 285s are too big are reading it from the manufacturer's spec.... good in theory, but not proven in real life LOL.
And that's def good advice about 19" combos- run, don't walk, from those.
= $$$$$

I don't even have the blower on yet and I'm already thinking about wheels and tires. ![Doh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/doh.gif)
I wonder why Tom? ![Rollinglaugh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/rollinglaugh.gif)
I know running the same size an all corners make sense, but I'm too lazy to rotate tires. Besides, I'm after the meats out back!

Bill, you should get the tires that Leo got, the treads on those look bas@ss.
Haha, Tom, that's a great excuse, "my rear end is out of alignment"![Rollinglaugh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/rollinglaugh.gif)
POTR:S/C version!
I can't wait!

I'm running 275/40 all around in the next week or so I'll switch out the wheels to the Roush Forged version, RR03 18 X 10. I'll switch with diffrent rubber using BFG KD's. I'm finding that the more I drive aggressively how easy it is to break traction with the 275's, I have stock gear's, Bill I think with your 4:10's your going to be gifted the same way, even more! Come to the dark side 10 inch wheels

Funny thing is....... believe it or not....... she believes me! Hahahahaaa, she knows nothing about cars and at first she said "really, well you should get that fixed; what's it gonna take?". OMG, I almost felt guilty.......
But I didn't.

You make a good point...... I have the 4.10s and with the system that Bill is getting, running Nitto 275/40/18s out back traction was ok until around 4000rpm in first, then it just got crazy. Bigger meats is a good idea..... makes me wonder about how my 4.10s, Nittos, and new Saleen setup is gonna be. I'm guessing...... NUTS!

JUST GOT AN UPDATE FROM BRENT!!
Car is pretty much done....... I asked for 450/450....... dyno numbers as we sit are 448/445!![Banana](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/banana.gif)
He said the new setup makes more power than the Vortech system up to 6000 rpm but then the Vortech made 19 more hp at 6500 rpm. BUT, at 3500 rpm the new setup makes over 100 more lb/ft of torque than the Vortech system!![Headbang](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/headbang.gif)
More details to come tomorrow.......
