That's too funny! I could have bet money that you were going to go as Oddjob (from Goldfinger).

Anyone heard any news/reviews on the Tokico HP struts/shocks? Looking for options as far as my shock/strut set-up goes. Or just stick with the Spec-Ds? Any other decents set-ups anyone running?

The HP shocks/struts should be quality parts. They are essentially non-adjustable D-Specs. PM boss 244 about them. I'm almost certain he has them on his car.

I thought about those at one point. Problem is there's only a $100 between the hp's and the d-spec. IMO it's worth paying an extra $100 even if you only adjust it once.

Nice pics George.

I've seen the Tokico HP for $289 shipped. Best I've seen for the Tokico D-Spec is the low $500. I see a $200 in the research I've done. $200 pays for alot of other suspension mods . We'll see, the thing I do like about the D-Specs is that I can change it to a softer ride if I needed too. The Tokico HP is... set. But $200 is still $200. We'll see.

I want to be suspension "done" by the spring/summer. I have my eye on those OBX L/T headers. Anyone else been following that?

Don't think it will be on news stands, yet. But, courtesy of Jackie:

Thanks!

I'm lucky my plate didn't end up in the magazine! I noticed he took a picture of it.

LOL! We partied like it's the weekend or something. Even took a virtual dessert trip to Ala Moana!

It was cold out, but the ribs were off the hook!
Note: Go for the Mild BBQ sauce next time.

George, errrrr I mean Bond, James Bond................. Lookin good George.

So I have to relate this story.....

I'm driving the GT this weekend and the Mrs is in the passenger seat. I pull up to this 3 way intersection and make a left turn. Being the smart a$$ I am and tired of hearing the warden always telling me to drive sanely, I give it some giddy up, well next thing I know the rear tires are lit up and blue smoke is pouring out of the wheel wells and I'm facing 180 in the direction I was coming from. So sweet but the Mrs was absolutely nuts at this point. Oh did I get in so much trouble. Phrases like you a$$hole, you &#$&$(#*&$#(*, I'm not driving in this car any longer. I'm thinking great no big deal. Lucky for me my nephew is in the rear seat yelling outstanding uncle phil, do it again. He saved my butt as the Mrs finally warmed up. It was a hoot to say the least

Wish I has a video......

Anyways I digress, sorry for the long story

Great story Phil! Glad you grew a pair and showed who's in charge of that Pony!
But next time, you may want to modulate your go pedal and slightly steer into the direction your azz is hanging out.
I mean, if you're going to light it up, may as well appear like you're in total control.

Blue smoke??
What, did you run over a Smurf or something?

Well it was white but had a blue tint I thought, you know what I mean Bill lol

And when the back end was drifting around I thought what the heck just keep it going until I was facing the oppisite direction, given more room a 360 would have been appropriate ha It was just fun scaring the be-geez-eeees out of my bride.
