If you drive it as much as they do, it will probably look fine. If you actually drive your car it probably won't though.

Good question as only time will tell. Ernie (the owner of the car) told me that it hasn't gone for sale yet and it's only manufactured for the 07/08's right now. 05/06 GT's and 4.0's are on-deck.

Question: Do they make an aftermarket replacement tube from the throttle body to the air box?

I like the "closed-system" of the shaker, and I don't mind the air box itself, but that tube would look a lot better at car shows if it was smooth. Plus, it would be easier to clean, and air should be able to flow through it easier.

I don't care about HP benefits (although, I would email Doug to see if it would require a tweak to the tune) - I just want it for looks.

Find me one!

I would break down and get an aftermarket CAI, but I really want to keep the closed-system. You know I always disliked the shaker tube just pointing at the open air filter.

That tube attached to my heatshield got to me too (being pointless). That's why I ditched it alltogether.

I looked at the Roush and Steeda website, but it's a no-go. No such animal exists.

I would have bought a Steeda one, but not a Roush... I don't like Roush stuff (something about being associated with the Red Sox). (for Kyle )

I'm surprised something like that doesn't exist.

My next dyno visit...

... can come as early as this Saturday!

I have to call up the shop Friday to confirm.

This will be it, no bull. We'll see exactly what kind of numbers I'll put down since the addition of the CMCV Deletes, UDP's, C&L Racer, and the Coast DS.

Tom, jagged lines or not, it'll be off the same dyno, so the baseline should be accurate.

Yep... but I'll be watching your conversion back to BHP.

Unless you only care what's getting to the wheels.

Actually, I don't have any Roush parts on my car (except for a signature), so that's why I wouldn't want a Roush tube if it existed.

I'm still going to the Roush Invitational and I'm taking 1st place this year in the 79-93 class!! I will not forget my hood lock keys... I will not forget my hood lock keys... I will not forget my hook lock keys... I will not forget my hook lock keys...

Not a good day!

GO SOX! Does Steinbrenner think that he's going to get a better manager than Torre? Not gonna happen. The Yanks players are too old.

To each his own

Yankees = most championships (ever)

But I'd rather talk Mustangs, more fun.............

The NASCAR team is Roush-Fenway. The performance division is still strictly Roush. Doesn't make it any better for me though.

I just got a sweet Yankees banner by the way Phil...has a huge NY and lists all the championship years. It'll go on the wall soon!

Well guys kinda off topic compared to the rest of the stuff happening in this thread, but I'm excited because I ordered a Pioneer AVIC D3 and an 8gig Ipod to keep in the car. Got a free back-up cam too.... Hope to install it this week before our Midwest TMS meet & greet this weekend!

You'll love having the iPod hookup in your car.

I think so.... its my first Ipod, so between it and the AVIC D3 I have a big learning curve coming up. I have a bunch of my CDs burned onto my PC as MP3 files...... I can just load those into the Ipod right? What's all this I-tunes stuff?
