Here is a pic of the front of my 89 to show the strip. The flash really makes it look dirty. It was caught out in the rain when I was changing the springs on the '06, so those are mostly water spots.

The circle shows how the tint runs along the bottom of the rear view mirror, and the arrow shows how low you are ALLOWED to have the tint (we all have a mark showing how low you can tint on the windshield). The "brownish" part of the tint is the factory tint (which you don't see, but again, the flash really lights everything up and brings out stuff you don't normally see - normally the strip all looks like the rest of the 20% tint).

Well, even though Royce lost the fight, I still believe in the system 100%. Chris is a 3rd year student at the Gracie Academy and I've seen him take out boys taller and weighing 30 to 40lbs more than his weight (of 70lbs).

No felt for the tint???
Who has the discipline of cleaning out the wiper strip after exposure to dust (or when we think it got exposed to it), not to mention keep it conditioned? Not me, in time I'll get lazy for sure.

Seriously Susan, I hope the tint remains scratch free forever.

Daryl, how many cycles (approx) before you developed scratches on your tint?

I think you can have the front windshield tint strip in CA, I've seen several cars/trucks running around with it.

Never said it didn't work, just MMA has progressed to the point that BJJ is no longer as dominant as it used to be.

We watched the fight last night at our friends' house. First time I've ever seen UFC - way different from boxing.

while I'm at it, I thought I'd show y'all my pretty little paint chip on the hood. I tried to put a 1/2" washer next to it for reference, but the zaino won't let it stay

Thanks. I like it. I don't think the front strip is standard around here. Don't see it much on the newer models.

Yes, I agree, needs to be lowered. How much do the springs cost? It isn't really in the budget right now. We'll be in the new house in 4-6 weeks so we have to dedicate all of our financial resources to that for now....

They are still on sale for $209.95 directly from Steeda. Piece of cake to install. And you'll know a lot more about alignment after Bill I go coming up soon.

Wow! Looks great, Susan!

Any shade of tint looks like it belongs on TR. And yes, it looks TR to me!

I agree. But, against the regular guy, GJJ is the most humane way to persuade an attacker into changing their mind.

Susan, this was prior to him installing the felt. Just keep an eye on it, sis.

That sux big time... It makes ME mad!

Maybe a paint & body shop can blend it in with some touch up paint.

Holy S**T . I don't recall you saying what caused that
Looks like there is more to it than just that chip. Some scratches , etc.

The tint looks awsome Susan.

That was a rock that hit me on the way home from the airport after my Chicago trip Friday, May 12. The rock bounced and went down the back of my shirt. That picture doesn't even really do it justice. I don't think there are really any scratches, just dirt.

I love my tint.

No comment on the dirty talk

OK I remember now that you said it went down the back of your shirt.

Is it in a place where stripes would cover it?

That's crazy! I have a hard time visualizing that one.

At speed, the rock hits the hood, deflects upwards and down your back. Incredible.
