It was a little windy, so that place I was going to put the show poster didn't work... it kept blowing over. If it wasn't windy, it would have been perfect. So, you can see in the pics where I put it.
Everybody that saw the Qoop picture LOVED it. You may want to get it laminated first. It's meant to be picked up and looked at, so a lot of people were checking it out. If I ever needed a replacement, I would just save the .jpg image to CD and take it to Office Max to have them reprint it and laminate it for $2.00. Nobody touches the show poster, but they do read it.
Thanks! Hope you liked the videos, too... We're so reckless!

I had one of my showposters and the 2 QOOP mounted on the poster board for $15 total.
I'm thinking of using some type of taped weights to put on the lower backside to aid it from falling over incase the wind picks up a bit. I'll try and come up with something before my Sunset show.

Just so you know, Tom, I'm pretty sure the Non-TMSer was named JT. And Bill, I know who you are, so I guess you are pretty famous. That wind at the show did suck, my car is already completely covered in filth. That's what a good drive to Gainesville does. Oh well, just gives me a chance to clean it again.

New place for the SCT emblem. IMO looks pretty good there. Never would have thought of it.

Interesting... I'll move my emblem around the engine bay later and see if other places will look good too.
Kyle, hope you did well at the show too.
Backorder? Did you order it directly from CDC? Or was it from Partshopper? If the latter, sounds like it's a drop shipment deal.

I forgot that you'd ordered the H-pipe. I really hope the chin spoiler get's here before the show. I called Midwest autogear today in hopes that I'd get to order the strut covers but was told the same thing as Bill. That they wouldn't be ready till the end of the month and that they'd cost 85 w/ shipping included.

I put mine angled with the arrow pointed toward the computer. Looks good for not wanting to get a fuse box cover.

Notice my hat????
OK... There were 251 cars total, and most were in the Daily Driven class. Then there was Modified, Concourse, and Show. I'm not really sure what the Concourse and Show requirements were, but I entered the '89 into Modified because it is highly Modified and not nearly Daily Driven. Every car starts off with a Gold rating. As the judges look over your car they remove points for different things (each class has it's own set of rules and a different judge judges different classes). If you look in the picture of the judges judging my car, one of them is a Daily Driven judge and the other is a Modified judge. I don't know why they were both looking at/discussing my car. Anyway, if you drop below a certain number from losing points (not being clean, mods not fitting properly, etc.), you drop into the Silver category... and then eventually into the Bronze category. A lot of Silvers were given and even a lot of Bronzes. It isn't as "cool" to get a trophy knowing that everybody gets one, but at least you know your car is good enough for a GOLD!

Oh OK. I no idea that it worked that way. That's a pretty cool way to do things. I just thought there was an even amount of each trophy (gold/silver/bronze) given out. I like that for two reasons 1 guranteed trophy and 2 If you cleaned your car and it looks really nice you get gold.
Bill-How does the judging go for the Sunset show? Has it sold out yet? From my understanding it's being kept to a controlled amount of entries to ensure a good % of people get trophies. When do I find out how many are in my class?

I wanted to hear about his experience in being awarded that Gold trophy.
Too bad there isn't a show like that around here. It would be fun entering different types of shows.
