Tom, why don't you think about white, or something in-between, like a gray or gunnite color that is subtle, yet visible?

Bill, you're right - we've seen a few shows in Vegas. We love that place. Just got back and we're ready to return again! Can't get enough - don't know why. Here's a rundown of what we've seen, in order:
Blue Man Group - Luxor
Carrot Top - MGM (Has anyone heard the rumor that Carrot Top is a franchise and there are more than one of him? Someone told me that a few weeks ago)
Zumanity - NYNY
Blue Man Group - Venetian
Ka - MGM

O and Love and Elton John are on my future wish list.

We've also seen Star Trek: The Experience and the temporary Bodies exhibition (mentioned earlier).

We like the clubs, so we've been to:
Ghostbar
Ra
Tabu
Rain
Studio 54
Body English
Voodoo Lounge
*****cat Dolls Lounge
Jet

And we've been to pools at Mandalay, Hard Rock and NYNY. And my conference at the Wynn was just outside their topless pool

Edit: I guess you can't say PCD? Well, the group that sings such hits as "Dontcha" and "Buttons"

+1
I think going the chrome route might be too much. maybe make similar in color to the 281 emblem on the side of the scoop?

I can't believe someone liked my idea. I've never gotten a +1, so now I'm flattered.

The Wife picked it up. It's sitting at home waiting for me

She promised not to drive it too much till I get home next week.

I've already got new wheels and exhaust sitting in the garage waiting to be put on also.

I was suppose to be home already, but getting flight's out of here is a real pain in the azz! It's easy getting here...leaving is another story

I thought about that, too. I got ALOT of compliments on it today. Nobody noticed the rib, until I pointed it out. I only pointed it out to TMS members that we met up with to get their opinion. They do think chrome would look good to match the horse, and they said it was so cool that they thought I shouldn't hide it. I like the idea of white, or gray... I think I'll try that out. I can always re-paint it!

Awards were given out at 3:30 which took about an hour, then we had 1 1/2 hour drive home. Then we went to Sonny's for dinner and I just got home. I have a lot of pictures to post.

I got GOLD trophies for both cars! I found out when I got there, that the Modified class that I entered the '89 in was a bit tougher judging. In this class, they ask to see in your trunk, you have to open your doors, etc. If you aren't by your car, I guess you lose all points for those areas. Luckily I was there, but I had the trunk full of cleaning supplies and towels, so I got points taken off for that. I was worried that I would drop to a SILVER for that car, but I guess the rest of the car was up to par!

I took two videos driving home of the '89. Dave drove the '06 on the way to the show and the '89 on the way back so I could get pictures of both on the road. This was the LONGEST trip either car has made and we had zero problems. I wasn't worried about the '06, but the longest drive the '89 has made is 25 or so minutes to work.

The first one is ok, but the second one is better (quality sucks, though). There is wind noise from the top being down, but he passes me and takes it up to over 100 MPH (I'm going close to 80). That car has Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers, and an O/R H-Pipe from BBK. Used to have four, yes four, cats and now it has zero! Turn the volume up!

Thanks! I'm not sure how many cars in each class, but there were a lot fewer in the Modified class... there were alot in the Daily Driver class (which the '06 was in). Everybody gets trophies, either Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Here are all the TMS members that met up at the Big Top Flea Market so we could convoy over to MOSI. All these cars were emaculate and we all got Golds:

That's Kyle (kh765), Phil (LimeGT), Dave (Burke0011), Jackie (photolabgirl77), Perry (mustangshadow), Dave (MTAS), Chuck (Boltzman), me, and a guy that hasn't joined TMS yet (not sure of his name).

Perry also got a plaque for one of the Vendors favorite picks. Maybe they didn't see my car? J/K, Perry's car is black and for the amount of time needed to keep it black, it did look really good.

MOSI Photos

Here is the link to all the photos:

http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...Mustangs/MOSI/

But first, here are some of my favorites:

Drive-by at close to 110 MPH on the way to Tampa.

Catching Dave... climbing to 100.

TMS members meeting at The Big Top Flea Market.

The '89 being judged!

Back to back. Then I could sit behind both cars at the same time!

"Big Falken Tires" (Burke0011)

TMS members talking with Marcello from SilverHorse Racing.

Speeding down I-4 on the way home.

A lot more in Photobucket... 111 photos total!

Congrats on the 2 Golds, Tom!

Glad you made it there and back safely.

Hope you had a good time. Curious, how famous am I with the other TMS'rs?

Thanks!

VERY famous.

Get a chance to look at the pics? And my two videos? Not as good as your videos, but it's hard to film when going 80!

Thank you! Yes, amazingly shifting wasn't a problem at all. And even walking around the car show wasn't bad.

Yes and Yes.

I'll cut you some slack on your video taking skills under your current physical circumstances, but we expect more exciting ones next time, buddy.

Forgot to ask, any feedback on your posters?
