Really good, IMO. In fact I'm giving away the batch to the people in my dept. It's still a little too much for me at this stage to eat. I powered down a small bowl last night. If I had done it in a crock-pot the meat would have been more... mushy I guess that would have allowed me to eat more of it.
Anyone driving this weekend ?? Looks like nice weather finally came back.
I was looking at a road going up to Mt Baldy and back down, looks like fun. Maybe do a reconnaissance lap this weekend ?? Anyone in ?

I was reading an article how the engineers did this and that to make improvements, how in the world did they overlook something so obvious? 
This is what happens when "bean counters" run a company and not common sense! In today's market 400HP is the new 300HP of the past. That's an improvement in FORD'S eyes but muscle cars today are not uncommon to get 500+. And with their cars weighing short of 4K were right back where we started from a P/W ratio. GASP!

People like us would love the forged motor and but then complain that the car costs too much. We're spoiled brats. Ford is doing pretty good with making what we want but we find reasons to complain anyway. IMO
Besides, Who'd want a car you didn't need to mod ?

I love the new release from Shelby, to bad FORD went cheap on the pistons and rods again. They just didn't go the extra mile IMO when they have the chance to go from good to great. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 'new edge' S197's do not weight that much more than us and the block is not even heavier than the 3V's. The Shelby is a pig because of the fugly body kit and big azz rims.
IMO, this is going to be a killer NA set-up but a b*tch to have some fun with FI. Long tubes, 4.56's and a tune

Truth be told, the performance sector (like us here, and the uber-performance guys like over at S197F) are the minorities in their overall demographics; doesn't the V6 outsell the GT like 3-1 or something?
Companies like Livernois and the like are actually relieved Ford didn't go all out forged.
Let's put it this way... If I ever bought a ZR1, I would leave it stock. If I do any mods at all, it would be limited to tinting the windows and maybe a cat-back exhaust (even that's iffy).

But the buzz on the net is saying wait til Apple drops the price which will be within 6 months, just like what they did on the iPhone.
I'm pretty sure Jed's Highlander will outlive your Exploder.

I'd be hard not to mod a ZR-1, even a little. New tune, exhaust and a couple other goodies, certainly not to the extent that I've gone with the Mustang.
