Ponies on The Run (Again)

OK, trying to keep going with the theme of a '68, I removed my IUP interior and went with the standard black panels, then added a wood dash kit. I also painted the spokes on the steering wheel, and added a SHR shifter bezel. Like I said, love it or hate it.......
Dynamax, 18". I don't think I have any pix but I'll look.

Tom as a friend that wouldn't let a friend walk around with something stuck in his teeth or a buger in his nose I have to say that looks horrible. Please do the Mustang community a favor and remove that. Looks like a mod a PT Cruiser owner would do.
And just to pour a little salt in the wound. Don't you think it's time to upgrade that power plug cover.

It's not my cup of tea, but I dont think it looks too bad, much better than any of the other wood kits I've seen. Maybe try painting the uprights black?

wow Leo, don't hold back or anything. Just tell us how you feel, it's OK..
Well, I normally don't like the wood kits, but ya know it ain't that bad either. I'd have to see it in person, but if you're digging it, then it's OK with me too.
You were right Tom, No problems at all with the fitment of the wheels/tires. Looks a little goofy but it'll stick. Driving around on DRs is weird you can definitely tell there is a really soft tire and sidewall. Probably take them off tomorrow.
I really gotta get my regular camera outta the box it's in. So more cell pics, sorry
SCT Trials and tribulations. Got an RA from them Thursday and mysteriously a door tag on my old apartment which turns out to be from Florida ??? It has a signature "required" so did they send me something ??? I know it's optimistic but I'll hold out that they are doing the right thing. We'll see Monday.

Tom-Looks like I'm the only one looking out for you. I think the rest of them are on Team TacoBill and want him to win Stang of the month for Sept.
Brian-DR's look sic. Now hurry up and get the guages and helmet.
Team Mustang Source
Thanks Dude. Helmet is next as well as a jacket. I can run without gauges and probably will. But gauges will be next up. Decided that I do want to install my Adj. UCA. So one of these weekends it'll be a short install party at my place. Hopefully before the next Barona.
Tom,
Wood is OK. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. It looks to me that pretty much all the charcoal colored plastic on the dash needs to be painted black to look right. The wood clashes a little against that gray or something. If you could paint as much as you could black (I know a lot of work) then I definitely think it would be much improved.
Love the keychain though!

Yea I know what you mean, but I've been wanting to throw that quote out as at least it makes me laugh.
well believe it or not the 325/45-17s are smaller width wise as my 285/40-18s
but I've been told that the M&H tires are smaller than most even with the same tire size ?? I dunno, but they work. I'll try to get some good pics of the marks they leave

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will say that it looks much in person, the pictures make it stand out very bright whereas it's much more subdued in person. Anyway, like I said it's love/hate. And since I bought the black IUP panels as the base, I can always remove it and reinstall the factory IUP panels if I want to.
Brian, those DRs are gonna hook like no one's business. Your FRPP springs must be atleast .25" to .5" lower than mine.
