Sorry to hear about your SCT issues Brian. Hopefully there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Whenever you (Brian) think of your SCT woes, just think of my fiasco and you should get that warm and fuzzy back.

no complaints about more posts from George. But tomorrow at work I'll have to be quick to page-down to be safe.

Well, it really no different than they were the first go around. Support is just a joke from these people. I am just tired of trying to deal with them. I get that devices die and things happen, but I have a pet peeve with poor customer service. It'll be resolved. Either they will make me happy or I'll leave them and go to another vendor.

Now you're asking for input, now whos :gay:

Anyway, there is a ton of people that have gone to Greg. Not having personal experience with his tunes but I've heard they are pretty good..... not sure if he is primarily a SN95 or S197 shop though...

You know where I recommend.

Thanks Brian. I'll poke around and see what info I can dig up on RET. I'm only inquiring because a friend hooked me up with a great price on a dyno tune session that beats everyone's price.
But you know me, it's not all about saving a buck, I need an expereinced S197 FI tuner as well.

If that's the case quit BSing and got to ST. Nothing needs to be installed so you can't use the "OEM fit and finish" excuse this time.

Hey now! I never said sqaut about getting a "OEM fit and finish" install, that was S-Fly!

Question is, if RET does an equally good job at tuning a FI car as ST, why not save ~$100?

Only a moron would say that there's only 1 person that knows how to tune S197s and no one else can do it equally as good. Are you a moron Leo?

No but if there's a shop so close to you that has a proven record of doing awesome work why chance your engine again over $100. After all you've spent the past couple months what's an extra $100 for piece of mind.

Supercharger $5K
New block $5k
Knowing you won't go KA-BOOM again. Priceless.

Plus that other shops name is RET. That's three letters short of Retard.

IMO,
Reputation, Customer Service, Reliability and Knowledge outweighs several hundred dollars. If RET has that AND is less, then do it.

RET is actually closer to me than ST.

ST does have a proven track record, no arguement there.

RET also has their fair share of followers and people to vouch for their work and tuning abilities.

I'm just not entirely sold on the pitch that Adam is the only one go-to guy and everyone else is inferior. And Leo, if you're such a big ST supporter, why not drive up and give him your business? If Don can make the drive, you can too.

Believe me if I ever go FI that's where the car is going. No way I'm taking it to JBA or HCM.
