Yeah... Right after I hit a liquor store or two!

Actually, when you get down to it it looks better than any hood scoop I've seen and it will run you about the same as an aftermarket hood without the paint.

Leo, John doesn't need our help, he's already talked himself into getting one!

That was an easy sell.

I just want to do the performance thing first, looks second.

At cervinis, you can get a cool looking extended vintage type hood with a shaker assembly for just a few hundred more than a shaker itself and you don't have to cut up your stock hood. Have you seen them? Of course you have to paint the hood, but the end product is awesome.

Yeah, I've seen them and I don't care for them. To me it just doesn't fit the cars updated retro look. I like the clean lines of the stock hood. In fact, the only other hood that trips my trigger is the Steeda hood... If it only wasn't for the hood pins I would get that.

Looks like they're offering a two-tone deal now.

It's awfully quiet in here today...

Well the MGW install is complete! http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...&postcount=244

I love it... I just have to figure out what I did wrong on the dynamat install and I will be complete.

Well, we're wrapping up the Boeing carshow that we had today. I was the only S197! Had a good number of Vettes, Porsches, and other cars.

I'll post some pics later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Great news is I took a peek under the differential and I have no leaks! Pinion seal, drain plug, and girdle are all holding tight!

Too noisy? Did you try a set of ear muffs?
