Tom (2?) - go with the white splitters. I think they would look great. First time I have seen your car... Looks great

Phil - I'll try to get pics later today or tomorrow. Keep the rotors black.
Thanks Luis, and are yours black Luis?

I see it like my gear swap and window tinting... yeah, I could do it, but I'll most likely whine and bubble up!

You'll whine and bubble up?

Nah... it would be like any other mechanical install... remove plug, install plug, install bracket, install supercharger, drill hole, tap hole, install fitting, etc., etc... No different than the turbo, just a lot less time consuming without an entire new exhaust to install.

Is it intercooled? Does he have to remove the nose? Now THAT is a pain in the **** (the first time). Now I can take it off and put it back on in no time (I left out the two bolts holding it on that are hard to get to).

Leo said NO WAY... and you say TOTALLY YES.

I don't know... wish I could see it in person. The black could look good on my car with the black and white theme. Kinda like the black wing on the deck lid... that doesn't look bad at all.

Non-cooled.
I hear what you're saying, but the Taco is taking the easy way out on this mod.

Luis votes for white

Phil - my rotors are stock. IF I do paint them... I'll end up painting them silver. Not looking into making them stand out.

I'm leaning toward white, but don't want to miss a "contrast" opportunity with black if it would look good. I don't think black would look good on the car in the picture that Jay posted... there isn't enough black. I need them photoshop'd in on this picture:

Ponies on The Run!-dscn3674.jpg Does my driveway look better not wet, Phil?

Ditto with my rotors... don't want them to stand out.

Good news Tokico/MWAG strut tower cover owners. The MWAG covers will fit so long as your remove the Tokico dust boot/nut. Did it to mine and the covers snapped into place. Sorry didn't take any pics.

Bill-If you want to test it try some of your spare cover's on Luis's car next time you see him.

Sometimes it's the simplest things that make my day.

Cool. Great news. Guess they're back on the list when it comes time to mod underhood.

I still say white, the only place you'll notice that the splitters are black are when they meet the edge of the light. With the white, it'll contrast with the darker color of the headlight.

You shouldn't need to, yet... but you can buy the kit at Auto Zone with the cleaner and the new oil. You spray it with the cleaner and then rinse it. Then spray on the new oil. The filter is actually grey... the oil gives it the color. Summit sells the kits with all different colors of oil.

I don't have any overhead lights, so I don't know.

Not a fan of the splitters myself, but if you're gonna do it get them in White. Worst case you can have them painted.

Bill, Blower is looking good. It isn't even for my car and I can't wait. Say goodbye to your tires

I guess the filter is the same as the K&N filters, is the "kit" from summit pretty much the same ?

Haven't needed to do that myself but would guess, and probably be wrong, that the manual says something ? I'll check the pdfs that I have and see if there is something.

Ahhh thats a nice driveway

Living in Houston is very similar to your climate Tom and our driveways turn black with mold, so power spraying is a must and its therapeutic

Here's a couple pics from today. Installed the CDC hood struts and the Tunable Inductions CAI/tune. I love the body colored tube/heat shield.
