Leo- Somehow losing a football player doesn't seem the same as your Mustang getting totalled.

Luis- Stop buying mods until what you have on the plate all get installed. Buying is the easy part. Managing all the install time is the hard part.

 

It can't be explained Bill but to me it is. I'm sure it would suck if I lost my car but I could always buy another black stang and start again. I'll never get to see Favre play again.

I like it, just as long as they get my C/T link to work again.

I feel for you Leo, I understand how you feel. Favre was football for many, many people. Some people don't get it and you can't explain it to them. I rooted for Green Bay as my "secondary team" just because of Favre and wanting to see him win. I'll miss Favre for sure, even after he beat my Seahawks I wanted to see him win so badly, but it wasn't to be. I'll have that last game vs the 'Hawks as a testament to what a great player he was.

I felt the same way when Michael Schumacher retired from F1. It will never be the same again. It's hard to pick a "new" favorite but sometimes you just have to.

I'm also not happy with the look either, seems like we took a step backwards.

Well I got the shaker and valve covers off, tomorrow prep and paint. I hope the crinkle paint will match the texture of the shaker.

 

I too lost my subscriptions (except for POTR). Maybe they'll come back soon.

I'm trying to like the new look, but to be honest the more I'm online tonight, the more I don't like it. Too much red, not enough member profile, avatars look weird, subscriptions gone, etc. etc. etc.

A site revamp should be more like an old friend that just got a hair cut..... not like an old friend that had a sex change.

 

I'm sure more updates/changes are coming. It appears the Forum is running on bare bones.

None of my hotlink links work either.

 

There is too much red... but there is more WHITE than red!

I don't like that you can't look at the bottom of the page to see who's here...

 

It would be nice if we had a change document to review whats new, whats gone, whats improved, etc.......

So far to me this a quite a big step backwards. A bit disappointed. And since I'm a contributor I think its OK if we voice our thoughts and opinions.

I know Brad is trying but communications is key and I feel we are in the dark so far. Brian being an IT geek knows this for sure I bet.

 

Hahaha I also don't like that everytime you post, the screen rolls to the right. Also don't like that you can't have more than 6 smilies in a post, and that there is a 10 character minimum per post requirement. Can't just use smilies anymore, like thumbs up or something- WTF, that's gonna save space??
