Delete plates will require a modification to your tune.

If you plan on maximizing your NA Bolt-On experience, this is one of them.
You can always sell them if Jed talks you into going FI.

Which Emblem?

Here are the two emblems and some ideas of where to put them. I won't tell you what I think, but let me know which emblem you like better and where you think it would look best:

If a further away shot is needed, let me know!

I like the "turbocharged" centered over the top of the GT. Don't like the fist emblem at all.

Image 7272 has my vote.

Yep... the top emblem in the first picture looks very cheap. The second emblem in the first picture is the one from Moss Mustang... and cost twice as much but is worth it.

I won't sway the vote for placement, though... yet!

I don't mean to sound like a jerk (honestly) but since you asked, I don't like the two emblems together (referring to the GT and new emblem of choice).

There's too much difference in size between the two if you ask me. Either find a larger new emblem or remove the GT emblem, IMO.

I like 7272 or 7273. For me, I'd probably space them together a little more.

I got my emblems in today.
Perfect size for the kind of look I'm after.

Edit: I'm not looking for Tom2's opinion on these.

How close together?

If Tom2 thinks my emblems are small... wow, he really won't like yours.
I took a picture of mine next to a quarter and laid the pics on top of each other:

Attachment 40227

You can barely see the two quarters, we had them oriented exactly the same way in the pics.

I don't want them too big. I think I will go with the emblem centered either above or below the GT. Any other way and it has to be different on the other side (one toward the back of the car and one toward the front of the car).

I dunno, maybe half the space distance in your pic?

Compared to my emblem, yours is huge!
But, I guess that's how you guys roll in Florida.

Too close doesn't look good... how's this?

Attachment 40233 Attachment 40234

I definitely have decided on ABOVE the GT. With the curvature of the body, putting the emblem below the GT starts to angle the emblem downwards.

By the way here is what it would look like bigger:

Attachment 40235 25% bigger

Attachment 40236 50% bigger

I like it below the GT emblem. I'm like Tom2 though, I would rather there be no emblem. Of course, I have no emblems, so I guess I might be biased.

I thought that at first, too... but with the curvature of the body, it looks funny. It doesn't look like much, but I can see it when I stand back and look at the emblem.

I'll wait to see what Bill determines when test fitting his.

Tom, that spacing looks better. I'll mock fit mine later and post pics.

Opinions will vary on this kind of thing, so do what you want (like me with the 281 emblems).

Oh, I know that... just looking for opinions because sometimes you don't notice things that look totally wrong and somebody else will.

I think you'll find the same thing - that it looks funny under the GT because the emblem starts to point downwards some... Then again, my emblems look thicker, so maybe you won't notice that as much.

HA! Longer AND thicker!
