Well.... I'll be at ST that Friday. You can probably count me in. Especially since it's a Saturday and I'm not burning any vacation time.
Bet you hit your number @ Barona. Much better track, IMO. Also being further away from the ocean it should be less humid, but then it's also higher elevation. Hell you were so close you could taste it.... and a tenth should be easily doable.... not even counting the 100 octane.
What does that say that we're almost to the point that we need to run roll cages... purty scary, no ?

Hey this might be why they recommend a cage, suite etc. What's the emergency equipment like at these tracks? Not trying to stir up any bad mojo. But you have to be prepared when things go wacky. I was talking to a super stock driver at the NHRA finals he keeps a seat belt cutter at his side and a fat fire extinguisher at all times. He runs minimal fuel on each run. He said running a full tank of fuel as if it's going to get your rear traction weight can get you crispy

So do have an 'estimate' of what the boost in power the 100 octane tune is ? and do you have any reservations of going to the extra power and 100 octane. When I got my tune originally Adam told me it 'should' make 490 at the wheels then added "things start to break at those numbers". That has kept me away from looking at or going for a 'race tune'

100 octane should be interesting for numbers, but I'm not sure I'd try it yet

I'm falling in love with the Cobra Jet look. CS front-end and bullit grille.
what do you all think of that ??
if I had a good pic and knew photoshop to remove the hood, make it Vista Blue and add stripes maybe that'd change my mind or make it up ??

. Monica is going to check on a price for me, I think American Muscle as them for $99.00 bones for both look. But they have this vid telling you to seal the whole thing with silicone to keep moisture out, that's hokie. Must be assembled in a 3rd world country .Jed

I was thinking about that, maybe to chrome version has to much bling to it. Where did you get yours Leo? The guy at Galpin Autosports said we can do the whole job for $300.00 dollars. Ya right those guys are so overpriced it's . Monica is going to check on a price for me, I think American Muscle as them for $99.00 bones for both look.
