Hey speaking of electronics after our Tour d' Orange run I need to get a radar detector I'm thinking of the Escort 9500I but I like the portability of the Solo S2.

I have the beltronics 965 radar detector with that rear view window mount. Love it. Saved me plenty of times minimal false alarms.

Anyone have any experience with hooking bluetooth in your car for total hands free? Got a new phone recently(BlackBerry Pearl 8130) and going for total hands free in the car. I guess if it works like its supposed to phone will go bluetooth when the car is on and connect the phone and then opposite when cars off. If this is old news, sorry. Its new news to me! Haha

Jed-Your still going with the black chrome right? Get the Solo that's what Bill's got and it worked well during the cruise.

George- Did you get the HD/IPOD Ford HU?

Spacers- Drove the car the car tonight. The car handles differently but not in a bad way. It's just different. Looks badass though can't wait to get the KDW's on. I think I may convince Bill to get spacers once he see's them.

No way I saw the way Seattle played today and I wasn't impressed. GB's DB's will own their WR's. Now that they're a "passing team" I think they have less of a chance.

I really hope the PAT's lose at some point. I think the Buc's win tomorrow and head to Dallas. The Buc's are the lower seed but I think they're better than the Seahawks.

 

they weren't impressive but they didn't fall apart and put together a strong run at the end. I think their defense saved their *** until the offense woke up. Still, GB will lose. If anyone has a habit of throwing to the wrong team it's Brett, Seattle will be on him like a cheap suit.
The Giants and Chargers will win out the wildcard games. The only thing I agree with is that the Pats lose. If that happens I'll be happy.

Ok, I love those wheels! Here a quick chop of my car lowered with the new wheels. I know it looks a little strange with no brakes or anything showing through but you get the idea. What do you think?

 

^ I like the wheels not sure if that yellow band works. It draws most of your attention to the wheels. I think it would look good if you had more yellow on the outside of your car like stripes. Maybe time for some bigger meats

This would be sweet but one would have to look it up in the motor vehicle act, because as soon as they see something up ie spped set at X or just blank they may want to get you then write you up / so one does not want to spend that kind of $$ just to get a ticket & have it taken away. I like it not as big and clunky as one I made like 10 years ago Philips had a blue print so I went at it , the hardest part then was to find the K-A band antenne's.. I Like It Stop the cash cow bell from ringing.!

Jed---I have the Solo S2, and LOVE!!! it. Some people will say that it has less range than the 8500 (and, now, the 9500), but I don't think it's true. Besides, your range will be blocked by other cars and turns anyway, so unless your on a 3 mile straight road with no one else, I don't think it would matter. I don't remember what Escort's claim is as to better range, but I believe that they say that they are the same.

Also, if you do get the S2...all you have to do is put some type of anti-friction pad (ie- cut a mouse pad, or something else), tape it to the bottom, and then you can just place it on the top of the dash and move from vehicle to vehicle with no windshield suction cup
