Tom, can you do me a favor, just for kicks?
Take a picture from as far above the car as possible to get the full picture of just the hood with both vinyl pieces mocked up.
I want to play a bit.

I would say "don't" do the rear deck. Just wouldn't look right IMO.

I went out again and looked... I agree about NOT doing the deck. Wonder if they would send me a little longer piece for less than $80?

Here is the best I could get:

I'll side with Daryl on the rear deck.

Do try and get a piece for behind the scoop. Hopefully GE will sell you one at a discount.

Here's what I sent them in their "custom" section:

"I just purchased Mach 1 stripes for my hood (invoice #2613247). Can I buy a longer piece like the stripes offered for the roof and trunk of the Mach 1 (N771-S5-BK-XX)? You can see in this picture that I just need a little longer piece to go behind the scoop (a 13" piece). It can be straight on the edges... I'll trim to the curves I need for the scoop and windshiled. Here is the picture link: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1.../DSCN3653b.jpg Thank you for checking into this for me. I would even buy a damaged return piece that you couldn't resell. Thanks again,"

I'm going to guess that they won't do it.

Couldn't hurt to ask... If they're really cool, they'll send you out that piece for free!

These are the people that charge $3 for sample color pieces, remember?

I changed the back part to actually look black instead of gray, and it isn't perfect but gives you an idea.
Which do you Like Best?

FULL STRIPE
Attachment 4250
3/4 STRIPE
Attachment 4253
1/2 STRIPE
Attachment 4251
SHORT STRIPE
Attachment 4252

I think my order of preference is 3/4, 1/2, short, full.
I really don't like the full stripe at all.
Of course, that is just My Opinion.

The same as you. The 3/4 is about what I'm after. 1/2 is what I have now (about up to the nozzles). I don't like the short or the full at all, either.

Also, I wouldn't have the complete pinstripe around the second piece. The 3 stripes just end with the same curve as the end of the hood.

With a 13" piece, I could cut the same curve against the scoop by tracing the piece I have now and end it an inch or so away from the end of the hood.

Hmm, I think you need that pinstripe like that or it would look incomplete just ending. Anyway you could cut one out ?

Actually, that's the way it's supposed to be:

If you look at that blue car, it doesn't go all the way to the edge of the hood, it goes to the edge of the raised part (overall it goes about 1/2 way). So, I could just put on what I have and from an overhead shot it would look the same. (I will probably put on what I have if Graphic-Express won't sell me a 13" piece for cheap).

Daryl... can you put rims from these pics:

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showpo...0&postcount=22

on to my car?

http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f1.../Mustangs/CDC/

If you can, just copy the rims and leave my tires.

I vote 3/4 too, it flows the best.

Hope you don't run into too many issues tomorrow, good luck!

I like that...

Are those rims polished? If so, I sure hope they're clearcoated.

That's what I was afraid of with those rims... leaving the "retro" and entering the "bling".

I like them, too... but I really think I'm liking the black bullitts just as much, if not more.

Daryl... don't miss this post here. I know you said it didn't bother you much, but that really will fix the problem.
