Leo... do I have to do anything special to the FFF registration form when I send it in so that they know we all want to park together?

I wont be able to make the cruise on the 15th. Work is scheduled already.

Nope just make sure you enter class 52. Hope you can make it out for the cruise

From Tillman

"The DSpec Wide Range Remote Adjusters should be able to be added on for $30-39.

I'll be able to do this sale all the way throughout March. This starts the second we hit 7. You can either paypal the money and all of your information to htspeed@comcast.net or place an order over the phone by dialing 610-497-5776 or 3736 and asking for Chris Rose, since there's a few Chris' here. You can also place an order by PM.

I need the following info to order: Full Name, Phone #, Ship To Address, Bill To Address, Email Address, Credit Card #, Expiration Date, and Security Code"

One more person needs to sign up before I can place my order.
Bill, Brian.

I should switch my title to TMS Event and Sale coordinator.

So when's the largest install in POTR history going down? I say we skip the cruise and do it then.

As it looks now, my car may be MIA on the weekend of March 8-9 for the Vortech install.

That means the D-Spec install can go down the following weekend at the earliest, March 15-16.

We're talking about a 3 or 4 (Brain) car dampener swap in a day.
It's going to be tough. We need more floor jacks/jack stands (Jed ) so we can at least do 2 cars at a time.

.. not to mention pizza & beer.

I do but if I could tune out some of the harshness for day-to-day I would.
Although it looks like I can't join in on the biggest POTR install party other than moral support and beer lessons.

I gotta save for tires, my rears are really low on tread as it is. Tires are going to cost around 1200, so I honestly shouldn't be looking at spending money on struts when mine are just fine.

I don't think I'll need the remote adjusters... once I find where I want it (probably the softest for more comfort) I won't ever touch them again.

Only reason I got them was because I got a shaker 1000 and I don't want to have to install/uninstall while I tune it. Plus it's only $30.

Believe me, we'll need all the moral and beer support we can get!

On the tires, back when I was looking at the BFG KDW's (like Tom and Leo's), 255's were $185, and the 185's were $265, plus $14 each for mounting and balancing.

I know what you mean Tom. I have 3-way adjustable Ranchos on my Taco. I set them to 'softest' when I installed them, haven't touched them since.

However, for $30 (peanuts compared to what I've spent in the past 30 days), I may as well get them.

Think we'll use the softest setting?

I think this is the fastest I've seen all of us jump on a mod a one time.

Imagine if....

1 Daryl still had the stang
2 George and Jed didn't have roush/saleen.

Those shock/struts are exactly what I want! ... Best deal by $30 from what I've seen in my research. What does the adjuster normally sell for? Gah... I wish I could afford to get them. But I deff would like a set guages before shock/struts.

Well its official. Tomorrow is when the order goes through. So I guess it'll make tomorrow officially official. Haha. Cant wait to be blown. Hoping to get the install early March. Possibly in the first week. Before the Taco? Haha.

Wideband is more important then fuel pressure right? I only want a two gauge a-pillar pod. I was even thinking later down the road to add a 3rd gauge inbetween the two a/c vents. Decision decisions. As of now I'm set on Wideband and boost/vac. Bill where did you buy your gauges from?

Looks like the average is between 3-4.5 turns out, 3 being stiffer.

What's the S197 front/rear weight distribution? I wonder if it's near 50/50, the dampener settings between the front and rear should be set the same.

This is the result of sitting in front of the computer all day with no work to do.

Re:
1. Daryl's F150 doesn't apply... But,...
2. I'm sure the D-Specs will compliment both the Roush and Saleen springs, and most likely out perform the dampeners they have now. (1 for George) ..... (and 1 for Jed)

Does a softer setting lower ride height at all?

I had some weight in the trunk for a few weeks and loved the stance of the car during that time.

I'm actually thinking about taking 1/2 a coil out of the rear springs.

Then get them! It's only money.. you can make more later.

My install will hopefully go down 3/8-9. Of course this all pending that I recieve the entire kit complete and undamaged by shipping.
Brenspeed already shipped out my KB BAP, plugs, and injectors. The rest is being dropped shipped from Vortech (no tracking info yet).

My friend/installer ordered them for me through his parts guy (straight from Auto Meter). Prices were on par with Summit and Jegs. Only advantage I have is if something is defective with the gauge, he can return it to the store.

Nope, D-Specs won't do anything for adjusting the ride height. I have mine set to the softest setting because I have to go over about 8 speed bumps in and out of my complex whenever I want to leave.

I don't see a need for the remove adjusters either. I can adjust the rears with taking out the trunk liner. Simply pull it back and you should be able to do it. I did climb into my trunk to do it though.
