Are you installing them Jon? If so, take some pics of the install.

Naw. Wasn't brave enough to take off the front bumper headlights and fab brackets to make it work. Remember I can't put my pins in the standard location due to the ram air openings. I left it to the professionals

Will this effect our tunes if they reflash?

That's a good question Ray! I would think the powertrain computer is separate from the air bag controller but I do not know for sure

Not mine.

I'm pretty sure mine was built prior to April 22, 2005.

So, while on my typical ebay check of things, I found someone offering the Saleen shifter **** like I have:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...QQcmdZViewItem

Now, does anyone seem a similarity between that and the following photo:

Attachment 39865

Maybe I should email them and tell them I want royalties for whatever they sell

j/k. I don't really care. But, I will tell you that the only place that picture has been posted on was TMS. I wonder if it's automatically copyright protected then

Sorry George, that's the only shot we had of you with the impact.

On the recall, ehh.. I'll pass. Unless it's some 'bring the car in or it'll explode!' type of recall, forget it.

I know my cal code of TJF1 will get superceeded if I ever bring it in to the Dealer. So, if your cal code is due for a revision, bet on getting it changed.
Then if they do, and you don't have the new tune (with the revised cal code) and try and re-flash with your old tune, you'll be SOL. Meaning your car won't start, eve nif you try to flash it back to stock and you'll be screwed.
Read Doug's post about it here.

There lies the problem with having a bunch of engine mods

How did you find if your code was due for a revision ??

I believe that the air bag controller is a separate box, behind the A/C controls, so it *might* be OK WAG ??

TNJ2 sounds familiar... I know it starts with a T, will have to shoot down to the parking structure to check it out.....Remember mine is a early 07 (not that I know if that makes a difference or not).

OK guys I just finished installing the Roush scoop, and new CDC faux hood pins........ and I gotta say:

I love it!

It looks killer! Scoop sits really nice and flush..... and I put the pins where I had them before, me and my daughter (Haley, 6) decided to stick with what works. I am VERY pleased with how it looks, although I did have to fight the strong temptation to stripe it tonight..... I was SO close to trying but I know when it gets below freezing here later on, any moisture left under the stripes will screw them up, so I guess I'm stuck waiting for warmer weather.

Oh well, at least I passed another pitstop on the road to redemption!
