I spoke to Gonzalo at GTR a rough cost is $700.00 non intercooled and $900.00 intercooled. A custom tune may add about $400.00 bones. I think the Whipple kit comes with a factory tune so that may eliminate the custom tune cost or at least minimize it.

Go Ray go! Visa, MC, Amex...Tiz the season to be merry

I just got back from Chicago... When I was boarding the Avis bus they had a picture of the GPS that they want you to rent for like $10 bucks a day. The interesting thing was that it was giving directions to a familiar sounding place...

I know.... Lord knows.

There are 2 different deals going on right now and the one in the link is better by about 200 or so dollars.

The temptation is there, trust me.I want one of these things so bad I can taste it. BUT as much as I don't want to I have to wait. The goal is to get it in before Q1 is over in '08.

Tom- Nice Vids. Can't wait to see some more once you get the kinks worked out.

Brian-You know you want one.

I've decided I no longer want the Saleen Watts link. I'm planning on just adding a new adj. panhard bar, and panhard support from BMR. Then maybe getting a new rear sway bar just haven't decided from which vendor.

Also thinking of dropping my LCA's to the 2nd hole on my relo brackets.

Why an adj panhard bar and support? To correct your axle shift?

May as well stick with BMR for your sway bar to match the other stuff.

Why are you considering dropping the LCA's to the lower hole? Too much traction?

Huh??? Why ? too much or it does too little. I know there are times when the back end of my car doesn't like bumps if I'm pushing it.

OK, I'll bite...why. What will dropping it do ?

Nah to upgrade from the factory stuff. Moving the lca's to the lower hole will increase traction.

Mainly because I'm 99% sure I'll never take it to an auto x event so don't think the $1000 price tag is worth it for driving around town or on the highway. If someone were to give me one of course I'd take it.

Like I told Bill the 2nd hole would increase traction.

You guys talking about holes again? Leo, Charlie "Perummp" has adjustable panhard bars for sale since he did the Fays Watts link thing maybe you can pick those up for cheap?

Just got that K&N from Leo. Two thumbs up on the shipping . Install was easy as pie and it looks MUCH(x100) better then that nasty stock air box. Sounds much better too. We'll see tomorrow if she drive any different.

I'll be in the market for suspension mods this coming year. There a noticable difference in how the car handles with just those mods? adj. panhard bar, panhard support, rear sway and shocks(maybe adj)? I'd like to feel the difference in my daily driving. I dont autocross, maybe someday but mostly just around town.

I thought about that JDM watts link. I dunno. Just thowing around ideas. I just want to feel like the car actually handles better.

Anyways, do the LCA's feel better then stock. Dumb question, I imagine they do. Reccomend them to others?

I just got home from the Christmas Parade... I have to upload pics, but here's one caught by another Mustang:

Attachment 36423

That's Perry and Jackie behind me... waiting for the smoke to clear!

We had a blast, but most of us will need new rear tires! I can't believe the cops (most of them) were as lenient as they were... I was lighting 'em up right next to cops.

I don't have any videos of my several line-locked burnouts... hopefully others behind me got some pics...

That looks like it was alot of fun. Great looking cars too. There is no way in he ll that we'd be remotely allowed to burn rubber in the presence of cops. You Florida boys sure have it easy... no smog, noise regs and you can do line-lock burn outs in a parade.

I've been looking for the mag haven't seen it yet. I'll have to hit up borders or something tomorrow to check it out.

It was awesome! The crowd loved every second of it. I did 8 line-locked burn outs myself. Perry did several burnouts... and a lot of cars behind me were doing burnouts... had to be at least 50 for the whole group in the parade. Not just the boys, either... Jamie (decorating my car) was doing some good ones in her '97 Cobra... that's her behind Perry in this pic:

Don't think it will be on news stands, yet. But, courtesy of Jackie:

I can feel a noticeable difference with springs and adjustable shocks/struts. It's amazing how much difference there is between the hard and soft settings on the D-Specs. I had to set mine to the softest possible because of all the speed bumps I have to navigate daily, but they could work great on a road course.

Tom- So the Mustang Enthusiast isn't on newsstands yet? I skimmed through the one with the orange twin turbo Stang we saw in Daytona as the feature car yesterday when I went to the store. I'm going to be pretty mad at myself if I missed your car in that issue. I might actually have to buy something other than Modified Mustangs next month/this month.

Congrats on making it into the magazine Tom!

I think you're the first from the POTR gang.

You'll have to scan the article for us to check out.
