Mine doesn't have this problem... Even if it did what would it hurt? I mean, you're talking about the first 1/2 inch and then it still gets to 100%. I'ts not like you have 1/2 inch of slop everytime you backoff the throttle a little and then apply pressure. I have driven older cars with slop in the throttle linkage, now that is anoying.
