I got the DiabloSport Predator tuner in the mail yesterday preloaded with the tune for the car. I told them 91 octane, but need to change the tune to 93 octane.
I was told by Granatelli and verified with the tuner that all I have to do is go into the tuner and advance the timing 2 degrees to make the octane rating change.
The Predator came from FL and the tuner is only about an hour away. I talked to him and when it's all installed, I'll be driving over to his shop to get a custom tune.
He said the tune that came with the Predator is designed for my car with the turbo kit installed, but that he would like to make sure the air/fuel ratio at wide open throttle is between 11:1 and 12:1 at WOT. With it on the dyno he'll be able to "dail in the car and fine tune it to perfection"

I need to find a boost controller before the custom dyno tune. The tuner said he would prefer that I had it (and a guage) installed so we can make sure the boost is exactly where we want it.
I haven't even searched for one, but he said that all I'll need is a "simple mechanical" one.

I was going to email Justin, but the guy I have been talking to (Scott) is from Melbourne. He provides the canned tunes for Granatelli's turbo kits. He knows all about the kit and how to make max power while keeping it safe at the same time.
I'll still talk to Justin, but so far I'm pretty happy with Scott's attidute and knowledge.

I think some buses are super- and turbo-charged... but I've never seen a car set up like that.
