I think I'm going to get an A-pillar gauge set-up like Bill suggested. I like that better than the CDC pod.

I'm going to get Phantom gauges because they match my car perfectly:

Do I want a "Boost Pressure" gauge? Or a "Boost/Vacuum" gauge?

Not sure, I would think Boost Pressure. I saw a few S197 turbo setups at SEMA (we took some pics for you), had I known about the gauges, I could have seen which type they went with.

If you go with SOS A-Pillar set up, let me know first, maybe I can get you a deal.

I think I'll get a Boost/Vacuum gauge. If I only have 8psi, it seems dumb to have a gauge that goes up to 30 (that's the lowest I can find). This one goes up to 20, and I can watch the vacuum, too:

Ultra-Lite

Phantom

I think I like the Ultra-Lite better (I thought the Pantom's pointer was red, but it's actually orange). The Ultra-Lite will go good with the IUP.

Just have to figure out where to hook it up - any vacuum line? But do vacuum lines see the boost? This is all so new to me!!!

(I posted this in the Turbo thread, too - since turbo guys are frequenting it.)

Here are my Ultra-Lites:

These are the three must haves

At night they look like this...

I'm going to try the green bulb cover. I found that the blue is not bright enough for my e-*****. If that doesn't work Jed's going white! Bare bulb

Ultralite II gauges for sure!

After seeing Jed's, I vote for the Vacuum/Boost gauge.

Leo... don't think I will make Sunset show. Life is too busy right now.

Yep, I agree... that's the exact one I would get.

Jed (or anybody) - where does it hook up?

I'd probably go with the ultralite II's like Bill's. They seem to be easier to read, and a boost/vaccuum should be good.

SEMA Tease...

Hahahaha! That's the screen I saw at 4:00 a.m. but finally it worked!

At first TacoBill and I had a concern about some pictures here

Then we went to the South Hall and our prayers were answered by the SEMA GODs

I really like the hood pins on this stang I think I will install them on the ROUSH. AH SEMA!

Link to these locks:

Charlie & TacoBill

TacoBill eating at the Special Shelby event at the Hilton where they introduced 3 new releases

I was talking to Keith one of the 3 main builders of this car. This stang was built in 80 days, comes out of Texas for Shelby.

I got Jack Roush to sign my lens cap!

Fords new releases 1 of 3 this one cost 100K and buys you a factory racer

The Pirelli group wins best babes in one booth!

More to come hope you enjoyed the tease.

Great pics!

I guess I'll get this one:

http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...id=3565&sid=61

According to the download instructions, it just hooks up to a vacuum line (but still don't fully understand how all vacuum lines "see" the boost).

Works for me Tom, what color are you going to use as the back lighting? White, red, green, blue? Its thru the dial lighting right? Nothing like thru the dial indiglo type lighting for gauges.

Can't wait till you get this puppy done Tom, may have to make a road trip to Florida for a ride...............pick up John on the way so we can have a part.....tay

Not sure what image you are referring to Bill, but here is the thru the dial indiglo that I was referring to and had on my GTI. I really like this look. You can pick the color you most desire for your thru the dial look. I had blue for the GTI and I have red for the 4Runner I have. They have the red/orange lighting to match the BMW which looks really cool and matches perfectly to the BMW colors.
