Good God am I tired, have been up for 24 hours now. I'm too old for this ****
Oh well at least it is just once a year, and I will be taking a day off for compensation.

Glad you are almost done (probably are by now - 2 hours later). You have a lot of catching up to do.

I will have a time like this, too, if I get the promotion I put in for. I'll miss the whole thing this year, and have a year to look forward to it.

I remembered your request to Bill about the lightbar and got you some pics. IMO it looks OEM just like anyother cdc product.

Just got back from the show. I ended up placing my poster right between the radiator cover and a hose that runs along it. Didn't have any problems with it flying away. Here's some pics of my car at the show.

This car here was originally PW and the owner bought the entire cervini kit and had the car repainted in silver. Only problem is he left his engine bay pw. Everything on his car cost him a grand total of 11,000 dollars. He ended up 2nd place in the modified coupe class.

This car won 1st in the stock coupe class.

And I won 2nd in the stock coupe class.

That's Miss. San Diego BTW.

Congrats on a 2ND PLACE FINISH on your first show!!

Looking at the 1st place guy, your's looks way better! Bet he didn't beat you by much. Doesn't matter, you have a great car and the people have spoken.

btw- How did it feel being out in the sun the WHOLE day? Been there, done that! Nice pic with Miss SD too!

Tks. Lets just say I have a racoon stripe from wearing my sunglasses all day. I didn't get out of there till about 4:30 they took way to long to count the ballots and hand out the awards. When I saw that white car with the blue stripes I new it was going to place. You can't see it in the pics but those stripes really mad it pop. They were a nice vista blue. I didn't think he'd get first but what can you do. There was one yellow car with a shaker but it didn't have a very clean engine bay. I think my favorite part was overhearing people's comments. Everyone talked about the shaker. I had a couple people comment on the pony emblems and wondering if it was a GT or not. One A-hole said I needed to clean my air filter if I expected to win. BTW he was dead serious.

4:30? Sounds about right for a big carshow. Don't worry about the racoon stripes, it just shows that you were out having a good time!

Haha! That's the same thing I felt when I was looking at the other 7 cars in my Class! They all looked like winners to me.

You see why a clean engine bay is equally important as a clean exterior? You can always tell at a carshow who goes (and doesn't go) that extra mile, it becomes evident rather quickly.

It's always fun listening to others around your car, as long as they're not saying anything bad!

Guess he was wrong!

Any jaw dropping looks when you fired up the car? I know people can hear the H-Pipe fire up 100 feet away!

Ah yes the H-pipe. I was asked multiple times to fire it up once they read the poster. They all had this look on their face.
I loved it. One guy about 5 cars down fired his up and lets just say he ran away with his tail between his legs. I had a couple people ask to see the sequentials and this other guy telling his 6 year old son he wanted the ducktail spoiler. As if the kid was going to get it for him.

BTW it seems Mustangworld and CDC don't like you very much. They've yet to post your pics.

I haven't registered for Sunset yet, but I will for sure! It's being put on by my club.

I noticed something interesting at the car show today. People seem to just look at your engine bay and then pop there head in the window. They don't seem to car about the side or rear of the car. Which makes me think I should really start dressing the engine.

Always a good idea to throw on some MGW goodies!

Still waiting for Midwest's Shock Tower Covers... I'm wonder how much they'll cost?

It's on my list. I was waiting for the dipstick so I could order it along with the oil and rad caps.

As soon as they come out I'm ordering them. Now we just need mgw to make washer fluid, brake fluid, and power steering caps.

I saw the satin cup holder today at the show and I think I might add that to the list.
