Ponies on The Run!
Where are you staying? We stayed in the Strat and rode all the rides on the top of the tower! It was awesome!
They were giving away a Mustang on the strip, too.
Tom- When's your carshow again?
Leo's first show is Sunday in San Diego. I've given him a few tips since I'm sooo experienced at these things... like 2 shows.

October 14th... I'll definitely be able to drive by then! I'm driving the '89 and my friend Dave is driving the '06.
I'm off from work until October 15th
(no pay, though
).
I'll take it easy the first week, and then have 2 weeks to get the cars ready with ZERO driving! (I'll drive the Ranger around town if I need to)

I have to start taking better care of my Tacoma and get the paint buffed out. Once I get a good shine on it, I can lay down a coat of Zaino. I just feel lazy when it comes to waxing my Taco.

I just found this out in another forum and thought I would pass it on:
theres a way to 'recalibrate' the gas pedal/throttle servo:
turn key on without starting
wait for lights to go out
depress gas pedal to floor and release
turn off key
One guy said he got better throttle response after doing this.

Sorry, I meant that it's 'useless' for me. Once I switched over to 91 octane fuel, I ain't turnin' back!
With that, I should have ordered the 3 91 octane tunes available; Performance, Race, and Torque.
Thanks, Alan!
I have never tried it. I guess you wait for whatever dash lights that do go out to go out. Maybe wait 10 seconds or so to be sure? Then press the gas pedal fully to the floor. I guess this re-teaches the computer so gas pedal fully depressed = throttle body motor fully open.
Ok, thanks... I should have pulled those fuses on my '03 GT... the battery died once while programming! That was a Hypertech and it took close to 30 minutes (plus the DRLs were on, too - the low beams at 80% in that car).

I'll do it! And I know - so close, but yet so far - didn't you see me waving at you last night from my hotel room high atop the NYNY?
NYNY - but the conf was at the Wynn. I like the casual atmosphere at NYNY better. I am actually working a little right now (not by choice) then headed to the pool. I have ridden the big shot or hot shot or whatever and it's my fave ride anywhere. I won't ride that teeter-totter thing. too scary for me - and i'm usually not scared.

"rrobello" is detailing my steed as I type this. I'll make sure to post some pics when he's done.
