That car was simply amazing...........it was just plain menacing........I thought the color combo with those wheels was out of this world, i would love to see some pics of that car. They never show you enough of the finished car on that show........

That car is awesome!!! He did the one thing I would do to a 67-68 Mustang fastback... Shelby taillights without the duck tail. One question though, where did he move the fuel door to? Am I missing something?

the car had a fuel cell in it before they even got started, you prolly need to open the trunk to fill it (not sure cuz i'm not really asn expert on fuel cells)

yeah at first I was wondering what they did with the fuel door too but then they showed the inside of the trunk and it did look like thats how you fill it.

The car looked incredible, best mustang on the show so far in my opinion. I really wanted to see more detail on what they did to the front end, they move the cameras around so fast its hard to see everything.

as for the wheels, i personally don't like them that big but they honestly looked good.

I was a little bit dissapointed that he didn't make a side scoop like the fastforward fastback instead of just putting on a fiberglass shelby scoop.

I would rather have that car than any eleanor clone I've ever seen.

EDIT: which way is the snake supposed to face on the fender? I wasn't sure if it was right but on the drivers side it was pointing to the back of the car

Mike was on twice but they did not make a big thing about it. First, when they were making the rear wheels and he was over some equiptment, then at the end when the gang was all together applauding.

Put a fuel cell in the trunk. He shaved the fuel cap.

Yes, Mike is now with Foose. I got that confirmation today, as well as Brian is now with Foose as of yesterday.

To quote Foose, "I had NOTHING to do with it!"

Mike was working on designing wheels for Foose while at work for Boyd. In fact, he was doing that while refusing to work on stuff he was asked to at Boyd's. When they fired him, his computer at work had Foose stuff on it

I watched like the last half of it,, sure was one cool Mustang, so beefy looking. I wanted to see the guy get in it and start it up.

I would have liked to see it go for a spin also, something like that must be cool to see in motion.

hehe

yeah I was thinking the same thing, and wondered if maybe he would need some practice using the hand controls with the new engine in it, or would it be pretty much the same?

Made the poor guy wait 6 hours to see his car after he knew that he had been overhauled.

Wish they could have tried to restore it more to the original vs "foose-ized" it. IMO

Yeah, poor guy. He had to wait 6 hours to see his completely restored, one-off, hand re-built by one of the top designers/builders in the country cars.

No doubt it would have been tough for him, but don't think he will complain.

does anyone else feel the same way i feel? would you have been happy with that car BEFORE it was Foose-ized? that thing was a beast to begin with!

even though there wasnt much done to it, i liked the whole custom wheelchari thing too.

The car is over done. I sure hope the expense is worth attracting the attention.
