At first it really pi**ed me off too but then the more I read the less I cared. People like this BadStrat whoever who go off to the point he did about anything just wind up sacrificing their credibility. The saddest thing of all is that he's a forum administrator. Doesn't say much for the forum. Thankfully we don't have to put up with that narrow minded ignorance on this forum, ya know?

I bet if he checked out this forum, I don't know where he could find his "typical" mustang owner. Everyone I have met on here has been nothing but nice and helpful

I'm so glad our Admins here in TMS don't act like little kids.

I know what you mean. I used to think HD's were cool, bought a sport bike about a month ago and now I hate those HD riders! What's wrong with them anyway, loud pipes and all that. Geesh....

I don't understand why they are bashing the mustang so much. I see more mustangs being driven then any Viper or Corvette. I see maybe 1-5 vipers a year, and only half the amount of Corvettes to mustangs I see. If these cars were little girl cars why do so many people like them? I also heard the mustang is one of the fastest stock cars with nothing done to it, is this true?

Did anyone read the times posted in that thread, late 2005 to June 2006?

Mustang owners are just ricers with larger engines....

coming from a guy driving a neon. Pot... Kettle? I've met some ricer Mustang owners, yes. But to make a general statement like that is rediculous. I guarantee there are less "ricers" with Mustangs than any other vehicle that is popular with any type of tuning crowd.

I was told by a dodge dealer if I bought an auto to get the price of the tranny and keep that saved up every 60,000 miles

Same with Honda's as of 2000... My mom's transmission goes out every 60k miles. Three tranny swaps in 7 years. Rediculous...
