I will buy Jack Stands!!!
Hey guys! I kinda put the Mustang purchase on the back burner after I got some insurance quotes...
Sold the old GS, stepped it up to a '94 GSX-R 750 this morning! Drove 50 miles from home to go check it out... and WOW! This thing is in great shape for it's age! And even far more important than that, it runs beautifully. Smooth power everywhere, no stutters, very, very smooth! It fired right up first shot with like a whole second of cranking, and idled right away. No choke, nothing. All gears shift smoothly, clutch feels good, it's really a great running piece of machinery.
Cosmetically, it needs a mirror, windshield, levers and new front pegs. Someone dropped it and the left peg is bent, makes shifting a little hard...
More pics to come soon... But here's a teaser

M50Y SHINOLA WATCH
Item #6990
Not all luxury watches are made over seas, the Shinola watch is made in the USA. Unlike any timepiece in the world, this Shinola watch is sure to be a one-of-a-kind in any collection. Watch is hand assembled and made with over four-dozen parts. Premium components include domed sapphire crystal at the 3:00 date position and a stainless steel case with rotating top-ring. Design details include the 50 Years Mustang logo on front, Shinola lightning bolt-symbolizing a commitment to quality (on back)-and an individually-numbered signature iconic case back plate that reads "Built in Detroit." The final touch is a premium, black leather watchstrap. Water resistant up to 10 ATM. $700
Nice Mustang, but for $700 I'd rather have this Mustang:
