This may be the last year we go during the White Marlin Open. It is just getting too crowded for this week. On Monday it took us an hour to get from 94th to Route 50!
I came in once that way on the 4th of July. I figured most would come in route 50 and i'd avoid traffic. Nope, it took me probably 45 minutes to get to 2nd street. I hate traffic. I try to find better routes each time I go and use them the next time. Maybe some day i'd like to try the ferry, but it really doesn't save me any time or miles.

Mustang Owner fail. The local club car show was this past Saturday. Not only did I forget to clean up the 65 to go, but then after I remembered it was happening 48 hours before the event, I forgot to even go to the show as a spectator.

What route do you usually take from up there? Do you cut through Dover? I know my brother complains about the traffic coming in from Jersey. And he doesn't even have to come down Coastal Hwy. His place is right at the MD-DE line in Fenwick. More and more people I know would rather stay in Bethany or Rehoboth and make the occasional trip a few miles down into OC.

The traffic through Jersey can be busy with all the construction that was happening my last trip. I'm usually on the full length of the turnpike although the last trip I got on the Garden State Parkway for part of the trip. That was a much better ride. From there I end up on I think 113 from somewhere. I know Dupont Highway is a long road i'm on. Still trying to figure out what they grow on the stretch. I go through an air force base which I think is Dover, and a race track too. Then i'll end up on 50 and i'm there. Going home I tend to take route 1 which I think is the coastal highway and stop at a Wawa in Delaware and gas up. 8 hours later i'm home!

From 113 you can also take 54, which will bring you right out to Coastal Hwy by Fenwick at the state line. Or take 90 off of 113, which takes you to 62nd St. We usually come in that way. It's not usually as congested as 50. But we usually try to stay somewhere between 40th St and 70th St so it's not as far to travel in either direction to get somewhere.

Yes, that is Dover AFB and Dover International Speedway through that stretch. I'm not too familiar with that area so I have no idea what they grow

Its bad baby, its super bad. The stuff they talk about Duane is super bad. Its mind blowing when you get into it, some super bad guitar stuff. Clapton talks about what a badass Duanne is and how he rips it up. Its amazing. People dont really understand how bad Duane was as a guitar picker, he was the God of the blues, he was the man. Hell, when Clapton pra9ses you as a bad *** picker, you know you are a bad *** ****.

Hell, this should tell you everything....
