Half the guys that do mods in here have a GT500 spoiler from AM but that's fine. It's a double standard. Not sure share the rational comes from. For the record I do have Roush parts but no badges. I love the Roush badges but the backlash from the mustang community is not worth it
How many times do you want this question answered for you?

Sounds like you should have bought a ton of badges rather than a mustang.

The little cobra emblem is dumb anyway on the pony. That's the real answer. The question really should be. Why is it acceptable to stick a snake emblem on a car that's a horse. That's like sticking a bear emblem on the Chevy Impala. Its dumb people! OP, you don't need any silly looking snake on the side of your pony. Stop being silly with this cobra , little snake crap. Lol

This is the only badge I have ever put on a vehicle.. not on the Mustang but on my daily driver.. my F150, old school Ford V8 emblem.

Yes, its completely stupid to have a snake on a car thats called a shelby king cobra, cobra, or a shelby super snake. Its only stupid if its on a car that isn't one of those.

Yeah, its dumb to name a pony car called mustang , breed of horse not a King Cobra, Super Snake, Garden snake, rattlesnake, copperhead , diamondback or other species of snake. Its a PONY CAR. A HORSE, Not a bug, not a beetle, not a cow, not a deer, not an impala, not a ram, not a bird. Its a mustang. Its dumb and silly to have little cobra emblems on the car.

That's like owning a Ford Thunderbird and sticking Tiger emblems on it. Its King Tiger Thunderbird model. Rubbish !

Not interesting at all. Up badging has always been gay and will always be gay. Kinda like bragging about your 12" 3" *****. It's a real let down and a great laugh when she pops the hood.

Nobody answered the question. They just say that the badges are posing but why isn't putting the wheels or some other part not? I think it's the same thing. Members on this forum will put the Brembo wheels on their car without the Brembo package, it might even be the V6 but that's perfectly acceptable.

As for the analogy of putting Honda or Chevy badges is the same as putting the cobra is ridiculous. If I am not mistaken, a Shelby is still a mustang. It's built on the same platform and shares a lot of the same parts. You guys need to come up with better examples to convey your point.

For the record, I do think its tacky to place emblems that really do not belong on the car such as the cobra emblem.
