How do these wires in the mirror connect?

The previous owner ripped out the mirror and installed one with a lcd display. He made a mess out of the wires and now i cant get the microphone to work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

3 White wires coming out of mirror

Black, red, and green wires in same wire bundle as the harness.

We shall need the year of your Mustang to know more. Also, you might invest in a shop manual for the wiring diagrams, or look them up online if you're lucky enough to happen to find them online... slim pickings on that but some are available if you hunt 'em down...

You can also find another Mustang what has the mirror in a scrap yard and take pictures, get the connector/mirror that way... Or get a 'new to you' mirror from various places on them intarwebs... And the harness too, it should just go over to the passenger side and down. No need to figure it out, just plug it all back in factory. A pillar is easy enough to take off/put back on, usually...

From waaaay over here, that's what I got at the moment. Hope that helps, and welcome to the forums!

Woops I always forget to put the year. Its a 2012 premium coupe with shaker 500. I like your idea of going to a scrap yard. Id probably be better off seeing it in person and learning from that. I probably should pull down the headliner and see whats going on, the mirror and wires are on the passenger side floor. Ill update if I get it working.
