Yeah, I second that. HDwrench, it is ignorant statements like yours which cause people like me to think that Harley guys are jerks.
I have an 85 V-max, my friend has an 83 (I think) Kawasaki Eliminator, they are both fast bikes, and he and I have both worked on them to restore them. They are still worth good money.
Sure, they aren't worth as much as Harleys, but then again they didn't cost as much to buy new as Harleys.

i own a honda and a classic mustang. they are two completely different cars. my honda gets more attention on the streets from the younger crowd but my mustang gets more respect no matter who looks at it. hondas are only fast bc you put a 200hp engine in a 1700lb car and give it a final drive ratio of 4.26:1 and up and you will have a fast car. the shirt is really saying that with displacement is weight and vtec will take 2 smaller valves and get more a/f and compression while saving weight. to each their own i guess. i personally think even when my honda hits vtec and my exhaust is at its best, it still sounds horrible compared to my mustang at idle.

Civics and the like are disposable vehicles. They will never attain classic status. There's nothing about them that will make them appealing to the auto connoisseur. The shapes are not inspiring, the engines are weak, and they are for the most part pretty boring cars. The classic cars of the '50s and '60s, however, are very unique in their own way. Their looks stand the test of time, but Japanese 4-bangers are built for economy and will never be on the same level.

how does honda make the acura nsx get into supercar status with only a 3.2L V6, while the car weighs more than 3,100lbs. and 290hp/224trq???
i remember when i first heard of the nsx, i couldnt believe it was a V6 super car.

the NSX was also the only US Honda/Acura that was in the 13s stock. i believe they run a 13.1 with good traction. not to bad for a honda but not a supercar status compared to other cars hp vs hp.

I remember when the first ones came out and the local dealer was asking and getting a $40K (yes, that's correct) premium over sticker. The idiots who paid that price are probably still sick about it. It serves them right.
