I'm looking to get some 20in boss rims for my 05 V6. Will they fit? Do I need any mods done to make them fit? Any rubbing ect

It depends..... How wide? What is the Offset? How big (diameter)? All these play a role in how the rims will fit the car. 20's are about at big as you can go and still look good in my opinion. The S197 has a high positive offset. Typically considered a front wheel drive offset. Which means 30mm or higher more or less. Stock wheels are around 45mm. Any number smaller than that and the edge of the wheel will push out away from center of the car. You don't typically see wheels with a higher offset than 45mm but they do have some.

Then there is the width. If you go with rims all the same width then I would consider at least 8.5 inches wide but no wider than 9.5 inches. Unless you want a staggered setup then the rears can go as high as 10. You want to keep the fronts in the 9 inch range staggered. But can go as high as 9.5 on the fronts if all the rims are the same size. Rubbing will only happen if you exceed these limits or lower the car too far with too big of wheels. I would stay with 18 inch wheels on a V6 just for weight reasons. Plus you can have more tire so that rough roads won't be a major issue and you can do other suspension mods without having to worry about rubbing as much.

But if you can reply with the Boss wheels (link) you are looking at it would help as well! Hope this helps you!
