Me and my dad also have had mustangs ( I still have mine)
My Dad: 1965-67 California special V6( or inline 6 I don't remember)
Me: 2000 V6 mustang ( Got it when I was 17)

No he wasn't much of a picture taking person, but this picture is pretty much what it looked like

Dad's first mustang was a Fox hatch...I'll try to find a picture of it they're scarce however....then he bought the '96 for my mom and it was given to me and I bought my Shelby last MArch

oh I forgot mom's first car was a yellow late 60's mustang inline 6......but her scum of a father took it before she ever got her license.

My dad had a grabber orange '70 Mach 1 351C with a shaker.

Now I have a blown 68 with a 351W with a shaker I just got my hood cut today.

Your dad's Mustang would have had a straight (inline) 6. Either 200 or 250 cubic inches. I had a 1970 with the 250 in it.

The "big six"! I think it was 155 hp. I had a 3spd MT, I ran the hell outa that car.

He had an auto but that didn't stop him from stepping on the gas, he said he would still have it if some guy didn't offer him double what he paid for it.
