their server went down- they called Brian to fix it. :scratch:
He called his computer friend Bryan Who owns a computer shop here in town.
Bryan decides because of whatever reason (snicker) their rate will be $180 per hour
Goes to check it out-
All their software is pirated.
And everything there is hacked up(well duh)
So Bryan refuses to work on it unless they buy legal software. Ouch...That fee woulda paid my salary for a month.

Served cold And I Am off to work where I will be appreciated.

Basicly they thought I was FOS when I told them there was an issue with their server.

Then I left- and it went down down down.......

But they can't have it repaired until they buy licensed software(windows etc) they are using pirated stuff. The Computer guy won't touch that mess knowing one of the reasons it went down is pirated software.

This new job is in Downtown Bham- AKA Hades on earth.That is a 25 mile commute- I don't know if Ellie and I can handle that. I have not accepted yet.

In news:

All I really want for my Bday is some good mexican food, a home cooked meal from my Mama(Fried pork chops, Collards, Cracklin cornbread and Mashed potatoes), and two birthday cakes. Perhaps some live rose bushes, and some plants for my garden.

And a good job- I gotta pass on the Birmingham one. Too far to commute.

I know I couldn't live anywhere else, we have the best food. Mom grew up in E. Texas and Mississippi and is the best cook. She can fry anything! Of course here we have TexMex, Mexican food in other places is not the same. Hope you get that bday meal,I'm thinking of calling ol Sara up and asking what's for lunch!

I just meant I don't eat much Gravy. I like my mashed potatoes swimming in butter.
Au Jus is about as far as I go(unless someone cooks me some sausage gravy to go with my buttermilk biscuits )
