Well the whole north gets miserable for about 6 months at a time. Yesterday (as well as today) it was rainy and cloudy and getting dark by 5:00. I arrived at school and everyone was quiet. I commented on how quiet we all were and the response was look at the weather. Its true too. When the weather goes down the drain here, so does people's civility.

They say people are nicer in the south... naw, you just have better weather keeping everyone's mood's up.

Up ahead I have about 7 months of grumpiness, both to give out and receive from everyone else.

And I suffered through the Bama game too, stupid Tennessee going and screwing it up by losing. Not that I really care about Alabama or Tennessee, just don't want so many undefeateds.

Heat oil in cast iron skillet.....
Pour mix in
Bake @425 for 30 minutes.

Speaking of cold weather... it was great for training tonight. We put on full gear, air packs and went walking around for 15min through a field.. I didnt break a sweat.. if it had been summer, i would have passed out. We did have a cop stop though, he was curious as to why a bunch of firefighters were walking around like that and there not be a fire.

Oh and I had to add my 2nd heater to the fish tank to keep it warm.. yay, more evaporation. although having a constant 80 degree small body of water in the house acctually keeps the living room fairly warm.

Last night the stars were beautiful! That may be the ONE thing I enjoy- seeing the stars all lit up when its cold.

I even got to wish on a falling star.


mmmm rib eye steak with a fat tail- marinated in Moores marinade for 2 hours and grilled to perfection. With a loaded baked potato.

guess who's been nominated for homecoming prince to the dance he's not even going to, or even wanted to go to, until today! so here i am walking to class and people are shouting "you got my vote man" and im like "what the heck are you talking about"

so i get into class, and as per usual, i totally ignore the video announcments. all ov a sudden my classmates are roaring "wow you got nominated?!" "awesome" "WTF" and such

at this point i look up from my latest issue of 5.0 mustang and politley ask "wtf are you al talking about?"

arin looks at the screen and theres his name, on the TV, along with some other **** i hate and the starting vars QB as nominees for HC prince.

all i have to say now is either my fro really is as sexy as i say... or the people nominated were as tanked as tanked can be

the thing is, im not going. by new goal is to be the first person to win HC prince and still not show up. oh what a riot that would be.

i would go, but ther only person i'd consider asking (the person who told me, when i asked how i possible g=coulda got nominated "its the 'fro arin, its the 'fro") is already going (no date mind you, but she already bought her ticket) and so i probably wont go

My highschool class actually did that. They voted for this girl who was the butt of all the jokes to "Best Dressed." She was NOT the best dressed. And there her picture is in the yearbook under best dressed. My class kept amazing me at how mean and petty they were. I was quiet then too, and just listened to people alot, it was amazing how two faced most people were/are.

Well, that disturbing little peice of history aside, congratulations man. And why not go, what else do you have to do? This board can survive without you for a few hours.
