So I have my job, and I love my job...

Brians Boss requests our presence in Orlando Florida this coming week- CRAP!
Brian has to be there ,I get to go to the theme parks free.

However, I have NO idea how to get out of work for five days. Especially when I am up to my butt in work!

Speculate on this:

Last night we went out to Chinese..

As we were leaving the first house into this neighborhood was surrounded with city and county police.
going through the house with flashlights and everything.

At the clubhouse four more police cars, lights flashing had two cars surrounded.

Everything was still here two hours later when we got back too.

What happened?
My theories....
Some hiney come in here and rob us?
Someone went christmas nuts and killed someone?

lol my ACT was like a 19.... I am only good at 2 things Math and Drawing.....

And i couldn't find the drawing part of the ACT....

 

lol... me neither...

 

I called ahead and told them you would be there !

 

LOL... maybe they'll have revised it by the time i take it :P

i used to be good at math... but then came calculus and that ruined eeeevvvvrrryyyytttthhhiiiinnnngggg!!!! lol

whats suprised me is that on my PSAT my highest scoring section was critical reading... how'd THAT happen?! i was always a math/science guy...

and whle im at it (talking about school/college) anyone out there take Latin in college?

i want to minor in it. i reallly love that class and i think it would be great to have something else to fall back on if my mech/automotive engineering career goes kaput lol.

i'd love to teach that class like in a HS. i mean my Latin Teacher is my #1 idol in life. he doesnt aver brag about it or even allude to it, but he is probably the most intelligent person on the face of the earth. a very humble guy too, and he goes out of his way to help ppl

so anyone with any cool Latin experiences they wanna share? seeing as college is on the horizon, i need to really get educated on my education lol

in an effort to be useless.....

 

I took Latin in college. Four years in high school made the first 3 quarters easy (Ohio State is on quarters while most schools are on semesters, 1 quarter = 10 weeks while 1 semester = 15 weeks so 3quarters = 2 semesters). Only the final quarter which was mainly reading Latin poetry and garbage like that was more difficult.

Bonus of taking Latin over any other language, don't have to speak it so there is no oral exam. But I also didn't learn a foreign language while some of my friends can speak Spanish well enough to survive.

My roommates took Latin after me and became good friends with their Latin teacher, she came to a lot of our parties. The beginning Latin teachers were grad students so they were only a few years older than undergrads... She informed me that my first Latin teacher was a dominatrix, my second one was a snob and my last one was gay and in denial (she had seen him with other guys when he was drunk).

 

sounds like fun.. well all except that last teacher lol :P

HEY EVERYBODY! i havene't been on here in FOREVER!! i have been busting butt w/ school! Its finally over for the semester though...It was a long tough semester and i am so glad its over, hopefully now i can come back to this website more often like i use to!!
