I gotta stick out a FYI:

To the yellow Bizarro Mustang who did a UEY to check me out today...I am the boss of you.

AND

To the lime one who barreled through my parking lot at work today- I already peed in the corners there...
GIT.

Amen, sister. Charities oughta do checks... like -- how did you lose your job, and where was it, phone number, who was your boss so we can ask. If anything they say isn't like what that person says, have fun eating from the dumpster.

I'll give to my church... rarely anything else anymore.

I don't believe in Charity.
Its too easily abused. AND you can't donate on your own terms- IE he who lost their house in a hurricane and actually worked for it. NOT the crackhead who OH Nevermind...
I was thinking more along the lines of the kids who Santa never visits, as opposed to the crackheads that must be hanging out in Ohio.

Really I am....Trust me.

But Easily lit on fire...

I would rather help someone DESERVING....Than some lowlife POS undeserving..Good for nothing

But thats just me and in ALabama, they like helping illegals and welfare folks. Yea, I am going to buy your crack baby a new Dell for Christmas. Just let me get out my checkbook.

And yes, Let me get right onto rewarding your dumb butt for having a piglet litter of kids...

Instead of say.... The cold old grandma who needs heat for the winter. Or the Kid whose Dad just got laid off. That is who I would LOVE to help...But that ain't happening cause no one wants to help people who deserve it.

For someone so friendly, you sure sound cold and heartless.

I'd drop it now, because the hole is just getting deeper.

Me, I'd prefer to help anyone I could, regardless of the specific situation. Someday it could be ou or me.

And kids, they can't choose their parents.

You know what I did.
Lets derail this train before it gets ugly.

Anyhoooooooo...

I found a LOVELY pair of Liz Claiborne Mules I must have at the mall this weekend.

And in sadder news, I have typed my butt off- CRAP! If I don't get a new task my temp assignment ends this week.

I haven't a flippin clue.And am scared to ask.

I just got gifted with a sweel optical wireless mouse and keyboard from the VP today. To replace the POS I had before(track mouse and circa 1999 crapboard) Why would they do that if I had 4 days of work left?

And buy presents for my kids? And invite me to the Christmas party- which got postponed till the 18th cause of the nastiness here over the weekend.

They did say that they would find something else for me to do when I get this flippin database completed.

I thought fully I was going to go in there and work 3 weeks and leave. I am on week 4, and I sadly fell in love with the place. I have never worked in an office before- I work from home with Brian doing the books. (ha ha today I got one of the managers in trouble cause I hate him He did something I told him not to-so the CEO sent out an Email- listen to April or else. She is the boss of you).Brian works from home being whatever the hades he is- third in charge of the company. So before this we spent 24 hours a day together.

I feel empathy for one of the girls I work with.
She had to take a second job because she needs the money.I have been trying to figure out a secret santa thing like for her while I do stupid nice stuff at the same time. She has her job there for real- Not petty like I took a second job cause I couldn't afford my dream house and 80 pairs of shoes and tons of clothes and perfume too.

If the job was supposed to be 3 weeks, you are on week 4, I'd think if you have done a good, quick efficient job on the work you have been given, I'd say you probably have a decent shot at sticking around.

Have you made it known that you don't want to leave? If they like you and the work you've done that still may not be enough for them to try to find a position for you unless they are aware of the fact that you want to stay... some people like the constant newness of being a temporary worker, and companies have been burned by hiring a good temp who quickly tires and becomes a bad permanent employee. Make sure they know you want to stay.

Even if they don't end up making you a permanent employee if they know you want to stick around they may contact you for the next temp job position or even next time a permanent spot opens up.

Good luck!

I say she gets drunk at the Christmas party and gropes the boss.

Long-term contract gauranteed.
