Been there...it is cold cold there...u have it worse than me in PA. Didnt like hardly any northern state i had been. All south and west. I was in 46 of the lower 48 in the 2 years i drove. It was really cool to see all the USA has to offer. A state that surprised me was South Dakota...actually alot more to see out there than i realized, but not in the winter...too cold there in winter too.

Driving thru Wyoming and Utah was cool for me. Loved the wide open nothingness of it all.

Def wide open and loved the higher highway speed limits...too bad i was driving a truck instead of the stang. Utah gave me a wild ride when i went thru there one time. U could see weather bands changing right on the road in front of u...went from rain to sun then ice then sleet then fog then snow and all over again..there were actually straight lines across the road where the weather was changing. It was right beside the mountains out there that it happened. It went on for like 5 miles t like that. It was kinda cool to see that.

So cool. Scary being out in the middle of nowhere and exhilarating all at the same time. Road trips are a blast when the speed limits go up.

PA highways only went up to 65 a few years ago...used to be 55 every. There are places out west where it was 75 or 85...loved it. The hubbie woke up a couple times and asked where the race was...lol. Then on the opposite end-There was one time i was driving thru SD at night(like 3am about 40 degrees outside) hubbie woke up and asked why i was driving so slow...told him to get up and look. The fog was so thick that u could literally only see 3 of the center line dots in front of u, so i was driving down the center of the highway following the dots. When we got to our exit near Rapid City, i pulled off the side to make sure we had the right exit and we heard a huge crash. Hubbie got out to check it out and here, the fog had been so dense it had created ice on the truck and it was melting off from the heat of the lights near the city...way cool.

And if u ever want to really be in the middle of nowhere, go way north in Montana. Drove thru there one night and had to keep stopping and waiting for the elk to get up and off the road...must've seen 50 in a mile all around the road up there. Only seen 2 cars going the opposite way for 3 hours...way nowhere...and the only radio station u could pick up was gospel and absolutely no phone service. Wouldve been really screwed if i hit an elk.

You will also need to learn the distinction between "y'all" and "you'uns" (pronounced "yuhns"); in addition, you also want to practice using the ever-handy "an'em" to indicate other members of a group. Example: "Jim Roy an'em dropped by las' night an' drank up all my shine... sum*****es."

I'm always here to help.

You forgot about 'fixing' usage which I'm not going to attempt to explain because I still haven't gotten the usage right yet! :-)
