Technivorm Clubline brewers from Holland. Sometimes called Moccamaster.
http://www.technivorm.com/
Tested to cycle 30 years, my first one I used daily+ for 23 years (still works fine), but bought a new stainless one to match my new kitchen in 05 - still crankin daily+!) Correct time, correct temp (near boiling). Well worth the money. I even use it for when I need quick near boiling water for cooking. (Because I don't have a micro - micro's cause cancer and I don't want cancer.

If you have a B&D, Krupps, Braun, any of that stuff you'll need a bit more coffee to get the correct flavor because they brew slow and less than near boiling, which can make the best coffee bitter by over-extracting. Mr. Coffee? Throw that away!
Supremo Colombian is a nice delicious mild with great aroma. And the great thing is because Colombia trademarked that grade (top grade), it doesn't matter what brand you buy - its all top grade - arabica grown at altitude. (In contrast, Hawaiian 'Kona Blend' only requires 10% Kona coffee to use that name.

So I buy at Costco "Kirkland Colombian Supremo" ($14.89/3#), and their San Fran Bay French Roast ($13.99/3#) to blend in when I want some dark roast flavor. I often mix 1 scoop S Colo, 3 scoops FR, but all 4 S Colo is really nice - without that Starbucks burnt roast.

Rich. Drip method. I make a half pot (2 1/2 8oz cups of coffee) which specifically is 22 fl oz fresh cold water/4 standard coffee scoops of fresh ground beans (fine - not powdery dust espresso grind). That satisfies my flavor and caffeine 'clock'. Technivorm Clubline brewers from Holland. The Technivorm has a heat exchanger the size of a small (wooden) match box. It can heat that small amount of water to boiling in like 15 seconds, the action of boiling pumps it over the grounds, the heat exchanger then fills & heats continuously until there is no more water. Ingenious. 80's tech. Plus very little scaling problems.
My company even used their big 3 & 6+ gallons brewers for hospitals and banquets that utilized the same basic technology - smaller heat exchanger heats quicker. No 24 hr hot water heating. Compared to the old Urns (that were small water heaters) that some even required 3 phase! lol (I hated working on those dang things because you always had to figure out the wattage before you really new which model you were working on! Zap!!

It must have seeped into my mind as well. Woke up today, came into the kitchen, looked in the sink and stove and realized that at some point last night I made sausage, biscuits, gravy and eggs, and didn't even remember it. ![Rollinglaugh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/rollinglaugh.gif)
Made a hell of a mess though, lol.
