Great ****ing album, ain't a bad song on it. One of those that you can pop in and listen to the whole thing and come out the other side feeling good and satisfied. Great guitars, tight as **** band, great vocals, and superb writing.

Now that is a fan****ingtastic song. Wonderful writing, country or rock, it could go to either genre. I can't decide which I like best, the acoustic or the studio with the amps and electric guitars, a real toss up for me.
Actually (for once) I think I like the electric version best (and that's rare for me, I like the raw stuff usually).
That is good **** man. That is a goddamned #1 hit country song just waiting to happen, as soon as one of the mainstream country guys pick it up. I think Keith Urban would probably do it justice considering the guitar licks and the "rock" element to it.

Another great effing song. So well written. Chokes me up every time I listen to it.
Love that breakdown around the 3 min mark where it calms down and goes to the organ before it builds back up, not to mention that slide leading up to it. Very Allman bros like. Good stuff.

Sometimes you gotta listen to what moves you . . .
Thought that I hit bottom but I ain't there yet
'Cause you'd be surprised of how low a man can get
I watched stolen dreams slip through my hands
And now I'm getting out of here still while I still can

I watched stolen dreams slip through my hands
And now I'm getting out of here still while I still can
That old man upstairs, he wears a crooked smile
Staring down at the chaos he created
Said son if you ain't having fun just wait a little while
Momma's gonna wash it all away
And she thinks Mercy's overrated

If I get another tattoo . ..
Some may be from showing up
Others are from growing up
Sometimes I was so messed up and didn’t have a clue
I ain’t winning no one over
I wear it just for you
I’ve got your name written here
In a rose tattoo
Some may be from showing up
Others are from growing up
Sometimes I was so messed up and didn’t have a clue
I ain’t winning no one over
I wear it just for you

Tom can dig this . . .
Set adrift in the multiverse
By the whims of fate
In thrall to the demiurge
We all await escape
Darkness and light entwine
Everything is all the time
All around you points align
Everything is all the time
Set adrift in the multiverse
By the whims of fate
In thrall to the demiurge
We all await escape
Darkness and light entwine
Everything is all the time
All around you points align
Everything is all the time
Hold on to the one you love . . .
Tell me I was dreaming
That you didn't leave me here to cry
You didn't say
You don't love me anymore
It was just my imagination telling lies
Tell me that you didn't say goodbye
Tell me I was dreaming
That you didn't leave me here to cry
You didn't say
You don't love me anymore
It was just my imagination telling lies
Tell me that you didn't say goodbye
I'm in a state of confusion
I hope things aren't what they seem
If this is really happening
Just let me go back to dream
You're home
Tell me I was dreaming
That you didn't leave me here to cry
You didn't say
You don't love me anymore
It was just my imagination telling lies
Tell me that you didn't say goodbye
I hope things aren't what they seem

Just recently discovered the group "Blue Coupe", founded by two former Blue Oyster Cult members Joe and Albert Bouchard. Also has Dennis Dunaway from Alice Cooper. Being a long time BOC fan, I enjoy this newer group. I won't bother listing everything I listen too....list pretty long.

n this pack strapped to shoulder
Ever since I was a baby
I've been running from everything I know
Don't you tell me about my trouble
'Cause nobody knows about my trouble
Nobody knows about my trouble
Except for my baby and me
