TBH, he reminds me of Jax. A lot. I thought it was him for a while.

I got her CD on Spotify. The whole thing is really good, but her mixing isn't that good. Her vocals are great, but the music around it is so-so. It seems like a low-budget track, with the same 808 beats just sped up or slowed down; the funny thing is though, it works. I still recommend the whole album!

 

Its on History. Its about hillbillies (one of them near me) hunting Ginseng. I didn't know it had gotten this big, I've been out of the loop for a while. A friend of mine 25 years ago told me the ginseng in this area was the best in the world and that the Asian people sought it out. He was the best woodsman I've ever known. Knew his way around these woods better than any person I've ever met. He would quit his job every summer and fall to hunt ginseng 25 years ago. Apparently now, this stuff brings $600 a pound, that is what the show is about. Pretty cool, first episode was last night. At least I could understand the guys without reading the subtitles, lol.

Series premier was last night so I assume it will be on Thursdays.

I also saw something yesterday that would have gave you a boner. I got roped into fixing a frozen water line at my dad's church. On the way back to the house there is a huge field that used to be for cattle, its now only a hay field. I looked over and there was a huge deer standing on the side of the road right near the my house. Had to be at least an 8 pointer. I slowed down because I was afraid he would cross the road. He got spooked and got closer to the old fence. By the time I got to him he took 2 steps and hopped over a 5 foot fence like it was nothing and trotted out into the hay field. I actually think he turned around and gave me the finger when he got there, lol.

Then tonight I was on my way back from my buddy's bbq joint with some ribs and right before I got to the house there were 5 huge does standing on the side of the road. Scared the **** out of me. It was raining and I was doing 60 and I just knew they were going to run across and I couldn't stop if I wanted to.
